Has Chris ever been on a plane? What if he pulls a Kevin McCallister and somehow boards the wrong plane and flies out to NY instead of Seattle, and then he tries to stay at Cole Smithey's house only to find it empty due to his house being renovated and then he runs into Clyde Cash and BlueSpike in Central Park?

This is preventing the Chris-Chan saga ending with dying or kidnapped during the travel.

Many don't realize it's for his safety. I had a mixed feeling about this: one is for his safety, and the other hand I like to see him go on a journey/adventure.

From his house to the con, he had to deal with his broken car, and encountered serial killers, cannibals, human traffickers, cartels, and russian spies.
Chris is covered in dirt, sweat and blood. By the time he went inside everfree, he's happy like nothing happened.
And if he tell his roadtrip, no one will believe him.

I have confidence there wont be problems at the convention because after TMG I told Chris that a repeat would cause a preemptive bann from all conventions. There's a difference between trolls going "don't let Chris come, he said homophobic shit in 2006!" and "don't let Chris come, he's been accused of sexual misconduct at more than one convention". Since then, Chris has gone to at least one other convention and didn't encounter similar issues IIRC.

My fear is the plane trip but I'm going to contact the airliner and notify them that Chris is a first time flier who will need assistance. I'll also give some frequent flier tips for a good trip and check on the luggage situation.

Not to mention he'll be on that train for a much longer time than if he flew. Yes, he can get up, walk around, go to the snack counter if he gets hungry, and nap, but the longer he's on a train, the greater the likelihood something might happen. Flying is a better option all around.

It's pretty interesting how every year, I can afford A trip for two to Puerto Vallarta for 3 months despite earning only 50 dollars a day. If only Chris saved at least 2000 dollars.
