Chris didn't even give give Doopie a gift, it was more of a quid pro quo. He ponies up some money, and she returns the favor by drawing 2, rather nice IMO, pictures for him. Mostly through obligation rather than desire to draw his OC and give an over-flattering caricature of him.

This is why women can't be nice to Chris, they're always gal pal possible sweetheart candidates in his eyes, regardless of the lack of interest in him.
 
It pains me that this isn't taking place in an alternate 2010 where we could have gotten a wonderful "CURSE YOU, DOOPIE!" soundbyte.

Ew. I feel for her then. He probably thinks he's "being a good friend" like with Megan. As Marvin said he's not chimping out because he's on a medication, so that's good. Wonder how she feels to be associated with the biggest weird-o on the internet.

Most definately Chris's gay factor went off the charts in that saga. But I think what sealed it was when he went in hiatus after that happened then all that tomgirl shit happened. I think that he was speaking to someone (obviously a female) during that time and she probably encouraged him to go through that change.
 
I've always believed certain core aspects of Chris' character, usually his most regrettable ones like his innate desire to have a sweetheart despite being a gigantic turn-off to almost any possible candidate because he doesn't respect boundaries, those traits have not changed a whit despite all the other things he's done to himself.

I just hope this ends without Chris doing to Doopie what he did to Megan that utterly alienated her, especially since Doopie is well aware of his past and sensibly would like to avoid repeating it.

It's like I've said, Doopie gave out enough info for a person to hire a Private Eye and track him down for less than $100. Doopie's probably getting 8x10 photos of Chris' duck with Sonichu drawn on it every other day.

It goes to the core value of Chris that women are "things" to him, like a toy.

Mix that mindset in with a total absence of any sort of interpersonal interactions that don't end horribly makes for a pretty exceptional outlook.

The difference between Doopie and Meagan is that Meagan disappeared, Doopie is a somewhat famous internet personality with a lot of friends.

If Chris pulls a Meagan, and Doopie turns into the Queen of the Trolling Stupids, it will seal Chris as one of the biggest assholes on the internet, which means not even token ass pats.

Doopie's not even a high school grad, what, waiting tables is too stressful? Maybe if he quit the online shit and went back to school he wouldnt be so stressed about drawing animu requests at $25 a page.

He whines about wanting to be a real artist, if he gets all tweeked out over his patreon shit there is no fucking way he could ever handle working for a real company that says when they want it friday, they mean fucking wendsday and will be bitching that you haven't finished on tuesday.
 
I really want to know the content of those emails. I'm thinking they could just be innocent but then again Doopie took the time to point them out openly instead of in a return email; maybe they're pretty damn bad.

I don't think she is really stressed. I think she may be using "stress" as the term because it is the best chance she has of making Chris understand that she dislikes what is happening, since Chris uses that word so damn much.

But of course, Chris is still not going to understand it.

Thats where Chris and Doopie are the same. Chris cries about stress, Doopie cries about his borderline personality disorder and can't finish his commissions this week cuz he's so depressed. Then he posts a pic of him playing with himself and everyone's like awwww, Doopie it's ok. We can wait.
 
I think Chris is so used to rejection he fails to even realize he's being rejected.

I remember walking into Impulse a while back and he was sitting at a table with a girl and a guy in college and it seemed as if they knew each other for years. I was actually convinced they came together and were friends. But as the night went on it was clear this wasn't the case as they left him to hang out together. My guess is he approached them early on (as he had approached every girl in the bar) and they were nice enough to talk to him so Chris thought they were best pals or something and seated himself at their table. And it makes sense now as we see Chris getting rejected by Doopie, not even IRL this time but online. Chris is rejected by so many people in his life that he latches on if you show the slightest courtesy. And this is even if Chris gets an in. From the many sightings he's just so bizarre and weird looking that people just avoid him entirely. People have literally walked in another direction to avoid him. And so he goes on with his life with no real friends or extended family. His life is just a long and unforgiving series of rejection.
 
Am I the only one who is disturbed that Chris thinks Paxil is an anti-hypertensive drug?
Or that he's made an absolutely retarded paraphrase of Shakespeare?
