To be honest, the cat looked ill to me in the initial photo Chris posted with the kitten. Watery eyes, usually a sign of an upper respiratory infection in cats. It's very common and typically viral so not much you can do about it. Kittens are particularly susceptible to this and the reality is, some can kick it and others can't. Might not be his fault imo, not much a vet could have probably done either except supportive care.
Sometimes you can save these but you have to be really on point. You watch like a hawk and do whatever the vet says no matter how much it costs. Chris doesn't have a job to go away to or anything! Our currently healthy as a horse black cat had a respiratory infection when we adopted him. I cleaned the house spotless, got the best kitten food money could buy, had testing done by the vet and got medication plus eye ointment, kept his face clean, scooped the kitty pan twice a day. In two weeks he was drastically better and in a month he was great. What Chris does is just... put them in the filthy house and put down some kind of cheap food. I am convinced he doesn't make any kind of effort at all. If you have a kitten with a respiratory infection, breathing ammonia, dust, mold, and shit particles is going to finish the poor thing off.

I feel really bad for Bob. He had to spend his last years in a filthy, disgusting house filled with worthless Goodwill crap, all kinds of vermin running around between the stacks, pets pissing and shitting all over the floor, being eaten alive by parasites, horrible shrew of a wife wasting the family money on more worthless crap for the hoard, and his mentally re.tarded son getting into debt over children's toys, getting in trouble with the law over trespassing, and recently pretending he's a girl. He must have been so miserable and just ready to die so he didn't have to deal with the disappointment and shame any longer.

So true. I'd have killed him out of mercy with my bare hands.

The lumberjack may have been a shit father, but there are medieval tortures more pleasant than how he lived his final days. I think about all the fleas and ticks and bedbugs chris spends the night with after accumulating capturing stray animals. If spirits could actually haunt the living you'd think Robert Chandler would have gone full on poltergeist on Barb and chris. And not to mention the dead animal "ghosts" would be exacting some kind of revenge against Chris for their deaths.

I don't have anything civil to say except rip kitty and I hope Chris never has another pet.

God that is crazy old for a cat. Oldest I ever had lived to be eighteen.

I also have a six year old feral cat. We got him when he was only five days old after he was abandoned by his mother. My sister was fourteen at the time and still managed to raise him to adulthood. This poor kitten looked to be around ten weeks old and Chris is almost forty. Wtf happened?
He Never grew up, that's what Happened

I feel like I just clicked open the zoosadist thread. RIP possie

Well sonichu is fast right😂👌
I also voted that maybe CWC won't kill it this time... But alas

Kitty got neglect to the extreme.

I'm not surprised it happened, I guess 18 days being short was nothing shy of mercy

I bet that he would have thrown a hamster in the microwave just to see what happens if he was given one as a kid
the hamster parent inside me hurts at the thought.

Chris you fucking moron. This is why no one trusts him with animals. I’m not trying to be mad here but this needs to stop. This was a case of total negligence. He has no money for legos so how is he supposed to get an animal to the vet?
