A commercial that has been burned into your memory

This commercial scared me as a kid.
I still have uneasy feelings about it to this day.

A google search brings up a page (archive) that states the commercials were for Herbalife - no surprise since those type of commercials usually involve an unnamed MLM, risky speculative investing, or anything but the easy money being touted.
True. It's interesting how these things are put together like that.

That same link also claims the CGI mascot reminds people of furries/fursuits. :cryblood:
Wouldn't surprise me. I wonder if the Carfax fox does the same thing?

I only saw the GEICO "Tiny House" ad once. I actually thought it was a real show for a few seconds (because any dumb premise can be a reality show these days), then when they revealed it was just a GEICO ad, I had two reactions: 1.) all of GEICO's ads fucking suck, and 2.) Don't EVER do that again, you assholes, I have the worst fucking claustrophobia in the goddamn world.

They were really ahead of the curve since tiny houses are now very much of thing. They're apparently trendy in some circles, too. You can't really call yourself an environmentally concerned hipster douche bag until you live in a house you can barely turn around in.

Hopefully this hasn't been posted before, but obligatory:

Also, these new CDC commercials are killing me.

I forgot all about that Blair Witch parody. That was pretty good, but I think this one was even better (it made my mom crack up every time too). They'd never get away with this today.
I loved this one! They did an excellent job on getting the look right and the dialog between them.

They had a board game in the 80s called Commercial Crazies that involved trivia featuring some of the most popular commercials at the time. Wendy's had some great ones.

I loved those Wendy's commercials when they originally aired, especially the Russian Fashion Show one.

The ads used here all came from the mind of Joe Sedelmaier. A terrific talent not seen anymore.

Agreed. I miss ads such as these that showed creativity.

I can't find it anywhere because it's fairly generic, but there's a commercial I remember for having a memorably stupid line in it.

It's probably a Home Depot commercial. It's for hardwood flooring.

There's a husband and wife in the store talking to an employee who's in the middle of explaining types of wood flooring and the woman butts in very matter-of-factly with "No glue. Our labradoodle has very sensitive skin!"

That's just such a bizarre and nonsensical thing to say. Like do they shave the dog? Where exactly are they putting the glue? Do they know how floors work? They're in a Home Depot, surely someone there would.

An old Cartoon Network bumper (I'm talking from the Cartoon Cartoons era) that was a What-If.

In it, the narrator was talking about what would happen if a mailman wasn't there to do his job. Fred Flintstone wouldn't get a letter talking about a recall on equipment at his job so he apparently smashes up The Smurf's village. Papa Smurf gets abducted by a flyer and dropped on George Jetson's saucer, the two crash into Space Ghost's ship (which I think killed them both). Space Ghost's ship crashes, more disasters and death, until a bunch of CN characters are all charred in a hole where a vehicle crashed. Then someone hits rewind so that the mailman does do his job and none of it happened.

I did see that commericial again on YouTube this year. Problem was it was among a collection of bumpers and I don't remember which one it was on. Anybody have a link?
