Yeah, that’s unfortunate. I don’t think the Senator ignored you for any malicious reasons but that they’ve got a lot on their plate (especially with Trump’s spending bill) and you’re just one individual.
I’d suggest a letter/phone/email campaign, perhaps get family and friends in on it. Government officials pay more attention to issues when a bunch of people consistently remind them of the issues.
