"Future Navy Seal and retired wounded veteran Marine?"

I was under the impression that once you're retired from the Armed Forces, you're ineligible to serve again unless you're in a retired inactive reserve program OR you are on the temporarily retired list (TRDL) due to medical or psychiatric issues and then removed from it.

AR 601-210, 12 MAR 2013
Paragraph 4-23. Nonwaivable disqualifying separations or discharges

i. Retirement after 20 years of active Federal Service.

m. Applicant for retirement and persons receiving retired, retirement, or retainer pay, except for combat-wounded personnel (see chap 5, sec XIII). This prohibition is not applicable to reservists who are members of the Retired Reserve and who are not receiving retired, retirement, or retainer pay.

Moreover, by tradition Marines never refer to themselves as "retired marine" or "former marine." It's a point of pride for them that once you're a Marine, you're always a Marine. Sry for military sperging.

Marines also never sperg out every time they see a penis or anything remotely related to Islam in general.

Also, Marines tend not to drive around in their mommy's car, shrieking into their phone while driving to every Starbucks in a fifty mile area because someone they never met criticized their poorly written military jack-off fiction.

I love how one of the main parts of Jace's image is the parkour aspect, yet he doesn't seem to understand the basic definition of parkour.
From what I understand, parkour is getting from point A to point B as fast and efficient as possible. Not jumping up and down a staircase for literally hours (Although Jace runs out of breath after 30 seconds).

That's a question for Monday:

"Define what you think is Parkour."

Actually that sounds pretty close to a few Marines I know. The type that are recruited while still in high school during a lunch break, spend a few years in and then come out realizing they just wasted a chunk of their lives and never had a chance to actually grow up.

Reading up on the history, Parkour has this whole underlying philosophy about being a natural human being and a holistic take on the body. Not very Jace.
I'd also be interested to see what he thinks about the French and African roots of the technique, two areas of the world which aren't very Jace either.

I wish someone was bored enough to make a side-by-side comparison of actual, reasonable parkouring (nothing godmode) and have it play next to clips of his parkour moves. I'd want to see his response on twitter. No actual criticizing of his moves and maybe even no context to it. Maybe say it was made by a fan. Would it upset him or would he think it's somehow a compliment? Judging by promos he lets get played I'd be willing to guess he'd think it was a compliment.

Maybe a montage of the worst parkouring (without it being accidents) mixed with his moves would do better. "Wow, these guys suck. Hey, that's me.... hey, Hey. HEY! WHAT THE FUCK? Is this.. is this a hater video?"

That gave me huge feels. That's exactly how I felt after I got out of the navy. Not saying it's the same for everybody, but I got out at 22 with no marketable skills and only a dim idea about how to be an adult in civvie street. It's always nice to know other people know your feels.

There seems to be a section of people who can make a go of it and either become lifers or get into very specific tech trades who do just fine. But even during peace time the military can be a meat grinder for a lot of young folks. I don't know if it is still allowed but it's my opinion campus recruiting during high school should be banned.

Not jumping up and down a staircase for literally hours
Hey don't knock jumping down the stairs. My sister and I used to do that when we were little kids because we wanted to practice being skydivers. I never graduated to jumping off the fourth stair but the third, I could do that with my eyes closed and I was so proud of that fact.
