Can't you also just right click the photo, Properites, Details tab? At the bottom you can click "Remove Properties and Personal Information." (Windows 7)?

Also, you should probably disable geolocation on your phone's camera settings (McAfee's Rookie Mistake Gives Away His Location).

Windows 7 will also let you do a partial screen grab, specifying what area you want to capture. That's what I do with all my photos now, then I just paste it from the clipboard.

Honestly, it's why I urge people not to engage in it. If you dox someone, you've lost your nuclear deterrent. You have nothing left to incentivize them against revenge doxxing or worse.
We've had some users who've been doxxed by cows who went on to be doxxed themselves. Tell me, with everyone's info out in the open, what prevents those users from swatting the cow that doxxed them in retaliation?
I try to be careful to prevent being doxxed, but I'm also confident that should it happen, I can ensure that it's the definition of a Pyrrhic victory.

Edit: Just to be clear, I don't advocate doxxing, swatting, or any of that nasty shit. If you're thinking about doing that, you're a shitty person and shouldn't do that. The point of this post was to illustrate the problem with starting a battle of escalation. There are lines that shouldn't be crossed.

I would hope basic humanity. Lolcows are idiots, and swatting people is never defensible. Any user who could be assumed to have engaged in it would be permabanned, and any user who was dumb enough to post hard evidence that they did it would immediately have that evidence turned over to law enforcement.

Also, lots of lolcows are attention-whoring egomaniacs who not only leak information, but gleefully spread it far and wide with lustful abandon. Making them their own doxxer.
No hacking is needed in some of the more egregious cases.
