yeah but the initial floyd outrage was something that was thought to last until the last racist was driven from america though. i mean you still have people mention byu and you do still have offshoot things like this happen using that as a backdrop but its not the same as that initial outrage propelling forever. i mean if ww2 had instead been a series of skirmishes over years after all the initial nationalistic war and thunder bluster youd say it had petered out even if some of the skirmishes get nasty in their own right or spark something later on.

the ukraine war is still happening and america is still supporting it but the live coverage from people like vaush and the days of people wanting every update and making it the hot topic of the internet is long gone.

It's already been pointed out that the mod implicated in the MTG swatting is a local mod on a couple of boards whose subjects would dearly love to see the Farms taken down i.e. Gunt and AF. It could just as easily be one of Fuentes' catboys or a member of the Gunt Guard that fired off this swatting.

it will, they'll switch from current thing to next current thing, give it a week, it'll die off and a new trend of people to hate starts rising and we're back on stable grounds (for a while).
