I think the reason for the 'doomposting' is that it's relatively rare that Null is the one talking about imminent doom.

This is a whole different animal than NZ- not least of which because KF is a US based site (also because no one in the world gives a shit about new zealand). The past few years have shown that there aren't exactly a lot of options in that regard.
