This Minecrafter had a lot more control over his actions than he'll admit to, as other posters point out, especially re: smoking himself psychotic repeatedly. As you can read in Lundy Bancroft's amazing textbook about men who should be taken out to a hunting accident, guys like Sky plan on beating their partners *before* they get drunk/high/whatever. It's so the victim blames the substance and not the guy beating them and it worked on this girlfriend for a good bit. Did he pick D-tier girls? Yeah but he picked them and then knocked them up.

Honestly the gf's account is a really sad read. Both those baby mamas should have aborted because now they get to deal with this guy's bullshit for 18 more years. The social worker giving her a hug <3

There's sometimes an over-correction to automatically assume the woman is lying or exaggerating, probably to avoid simping.

It's not unreasonable to do so; look at how Amber Heard DARVO'd her abuse of Johnny Depp, and got plenty of asspats for it.

Redstone-focused ones tend to be more well-adjusted as far as I can see. SethBling branched out into much broader general game design after Minecraft and Mumbo Jumbo went from making fancy redstone machines to having a pretty respectable film-making and cinematography portfolio, while still making fancy redstone machines in his spare time alongside that.

Fair point. Redstone, like any other engineering, requires logic, and thus has entry threshold that might filter out those who are dumb enough to engage in questionable social behaviour. Then again, "technical" smarts aren't panacea for being schizo, you all know examples of that. Though I'm not familiar with Mumbo's content; from what I've seen in recommended column, he seems to be in the same category as AntVenom, being focused on inner workings of the game instead of making bottom of the barrel entertainment-only content.

He and other creators in the same vein (SalC1, TheMisterEpic, RetroGamingNow, etc.) are bearable and quite enjoyable to watch purely because of focusing on the game itself, and not their personalities or some other drama/gayops. I'll give them a pass. Sadly, Ant does look like a "fat soyboy" stereotype IRL, and I can't help myself but be cautious of people like that, even if enjoying content they produce.

I can definitely believe a lot of what she’s saying, but at the same time we should take her word with a grain of salt. She is most likely just as insane and unreliable as Adam.

Was there any question? The bitch takes paragraphs out of her allegation posts for pandering trigger warning sections. What goes through these people’s minds? “oh can’t expose degenerate crazy behaviour without a disclosure in case an adult clicks on it and gets their feelings hurt.” The amount of behaviour she describes detracts from herself because any reasonable person won’t have much of a tolerance for the majority of behaviour she describes, that + the video of her crying on the bed instead of having any remote agency keys me in that she’s not the most agile, well adjusted narrator to be taking at full value. Does this mean I think she’s lying?
