Agreed, Cuckler’s main draw theoretically are those who watched the original G4 and think bringing on someone from that era will draw them back in. I’m sure all the more popular hosts flat out turned it down or wanted too much money. Cuckler is likely doing this for a song because it gives him a little bit of pseudo-relevance in his otherwise miserable life.

Because successful and talented Youtubers that people actually like aren't going to agree to lose creative control and give up part of their ad/ subscription revenue to a boomer corporation. They needed to get has-beens and clout chasers to get talent.

The joke is that he's not even a real draw. Those of us who watched him back in the day are a lot older now, and don't give a fuck about video game TV shows, even if we still play games. Now codemonkeys would have been a draw, but there's no way in hell that could be made today without murdering all the humor.

I just realized The Completionist is apart of this motely crew of weirdos on this show. I enjoy some of his videos on Youtube, but I assume if I peel back and check out his twitter it's nothing but woke nonsense? Granted I only have been observing far away primarily with that one demon looking woman and Adam Sessler on the occasional /v/ thread or here.

Bitch have you ever watched X-Play? Tokyo Game show, E3, Convetions, Press Releases, Console launches. While X-play did mostly reviews part of the reason they were also beloved is because of their fucking news coverage. Also how can you say news isnt your strength, its reading, making bullet points, and then talking about them. Even reading enough teleprompters should have the basics drilled in your fucking skull. I could understand back in 03 but how can you play games now a days, with all of their bullshit and not know about the industry. Is this why she did want to talk about Red Dead? Because an online gaming community getting fucked by devs and pubs wasnt her passion but people saying she isnt hot is? Also playing games and reviewing them takes substantially less effort then keeping on top of industry news and changes. And even that doesnt take a giant amount of effort.

Im sorry, I know Im getting MATI but holy shit shes been gifted a job most of us who were fans of the old days would have killed for. I know Corpo shit and its a walking corpse but I would have at least tried to do my part to make it like the glory days. This chick is just using it as a soap box.

I wish she had stayed at the LEC.

I enjoyed G4 back in the day because of all of the funny skits. Most online content creators still don't do that.

I don't really no why they would bring G4 back as a cable channel in 2021 ?? who did they expect to watch this? And man the whole online gaming is toxic/ women in gaming schtick is played out. and Sessler is literally turning into Moviebob inside and out, How long do they think this new (escapist) i mean G4 to last.
