I think the techtv X-Play was pretty interesting since, If my memory is serving me right about X-Play at that time, the network basically didn't care about their show so it gave them all the creative freedom they wanted as long as they had ya know 22 minutes of show to put on the air. So it let them stuff in silly nonsense. So you got stuff like Drunk Link which was a guy in a crappy Link cosplay calling Zelda a stupid bitch for getting kidnapped all the time.

The G4 Era seemed to make X-Play more "serious" I guess. Which kinda took away some of the charm and they tried to move that charm over to AOTS for some reason. They still had some sillier stuff like the Golden mullets but yeah. I guess G4 wanted that shit to be more serious since I guess people really cared about game reviews from pro outlets back then.

I want to believe he's sincere when he says his wife is battling Brain Cancer, but if my wife was battling Cancer I would be putting my time and energy into taking care of her. Not having spergouts on twitter over the dumbest stuff.

It takes no energy at all to type out a sentence on Twitter. If he says his wife is battling brain cancer, I've no reason to believe he's lying since he gains nothing from the lie.

Yeah, but the fact he's spending so much time on twitter having spergouts isn't a good look. And I wouldn't be surprised at this point if he uses his wife's condition to shield him from criticism of his spergouts.

So I discovered a thread archived on /pol/ which I found intriguing. There was a discussion about G4/X-Play's meltdown, especially with Frosk and Adam being cringey lolcows.


One of the comments has screencaps from another 4chan thread where an anon claimed to have known Frosk in college and was friends with her, until she gradually went woke and distanced herself from him. There's a lot of text in the screencaps, so I'll summarize: she was a trust fund kid who came from a wealthy family with a father who worked in finance, and she hated him for being responsible for the 2008 recession. She changed her name often because she hated it -- her real name is Devon Ryanne Mohr. She became a total cunt to people once she came out of the closet. The anon describes that he platonically spent the night at her place once and she invited him to sleep on her bed (just as friends), and the next morning she was creeped out and never spoke to him again. Frosk also hated any kind of criticisms, which is why she remained in the closet for so long (for fear of being labeled a dyke) -- and also explains why she's such a cunt on social media and why her on-screen rant appeared out of left field.

It's also a case of a fresh new network looking for anything that sticks and wanting the talent to have fun so they'll stay. By the time G4 took over, it was in the "this is a business" mode, and you can't do the fun stuff anymore. Happens to a lot of media companies, video games included.

She is mentioned in the credits under the Special Thanks section. She's credited for the story in Solar Ash, which the most recent game released by the developers of Hyperlight Drfiter.

Sessler likely just latched onto her because it gave him another reason to go on Twitter tirades again Republicans and other groups he has a hate boner for. Maybe he wanted to be the sixth guy, but I wouldn't be surprised if he just wanted to get coke from her. I'd like to think Adam could use his minor celebrity to do better than Quinn, but he's such an unlikeable cunt that he probably dissuades a lot of women who thought they wanted to fuck him when they meet him in person.

Oddly enough she seems fine with using the name "Ryanne Mohr" unlike what the 4channer said.
