Careercow Adam Sessler - Former G4 Host, Possibly a Coke Addict, Zoe Quinn Orbiter, Increasingly Irrelevant Cuck

They picked this angry Manlet over Morgan Webb, over Victor Lucas, over a number of other less bitter reviewers. I'm going to enjoy watching them regret their purchase.

I bet it's more like he was the only one who would actually do it. At least when it comes to him vs Morgan Webb. She's set for life through her marriage I'm pretty sure.

You've got to understand, at one point in time it's possible I was this dude's biggest fan, you have no idea how big a fan I was of X-Play at one time.

But even I have to admit Sessler is a douchebag and when someone that could once possibly be described as your biggest fan says that, you know you've done fucked up.

Still have a lot of happy memories of X-Play, watching clips of it on YouTube is close to peak nostalgic media for me, I'm sad it turned out to be this way, but I'm not going to not call a spade a spade.

Seanbaby is one that especially blows my mind, the dude absolutely personified 2000s edgy humor, now he's gone Woke?

If you remember the short lived web series Broken Pixels where he and a few other EGM editors like Crispin Boyer and one other guy would play games back in 2006 they would casually throw around the word fag and make gay jokes, ah 2006, how I miss thee.

I wouldn't expect Seanbaby to go full Fourth Reich or anything but if I expected anyone to be able to see Woke for the bullshit that it is and make fun of it, it'd have been him.

Many such cases, sad!

It really isn't too surprising looking back on some memories of X-Play.

From what I understand he did in fact want to be an actor/comedian, something like that, was never a big time gamer and hosting a video game show is just what he so happened to fall into, correct?

Morgan definitely seems like she's a good person to me who wouldn't just throw Adam to the wolves.

So is that what went wrong? I checked out in late 2006 after the third set change, it seemed like the whole tone of the show changed to me and I didn't realize why it had happened.

I like to pretend the "musical episode" was the series finale.

2021 in one picture.

The main thing I'm hoping for is an archive of old G4 content, being able to watch every old episode of X-Play would be a literal dream come true for me, as there seems to be only a small fraction that was preserved by fans, I can't even find the pilot episode.
Hopefully, this can help:

All frat boys turn into giant pussies when they become older, and Seanbaby was the biggest frat boy there was.

I think i'm one of the very few left to remember Pre-Tech TV merger G4 in 2002-2003. I really do miss it. Cheesy? Sure. Nothing but Videogames and no social activism? Yes.
I never got to see ore merger G4 but I do remember reading about it when it launched in 2002.

Awesome, glad to know other people care and are working on preserving it no matter what G4 itself does.

The truth is that X-Play always sucked and the only reason to watch it was to COOM over Morgan Webb. I liked Judgement Day and Electric Playground for actual video game stuff.
Nah, X-Play was an entertaining show until the third set change at the end of 2006.

I did like Electric Playground too, which I watched earlier, but I didn't like Judgement Day for whatever reason, it just struck me as "Electric Playground but worse"

With Xavier Woods and who?
Im just surprised this video didn't go the same way as the last one I saw with Xavier Woods and a pale white person.

Adam Sessler read by a script for many of his opinions on Xplay. When you saw him live, he looked like an overly emotional dork. Everything you're seeing of him right now is what he always was behind the scenes.
How many people remember the debate he had with Jack Thompson? For those who are too young to remember, Jack Thompson was a third rate lawyer that had a personal crusade against the game industry in the mid 2000's. Pretty much for many a boogieman who was this huge threat despite being completely ineffective and having no influential clout (unlike others like Anita Sarkeesian) to the point where he was permanently disbarred by the Florida Supreme Court in 2008. People like our soy Adam would give him the spotlight, lose complete composure and ultimately make Jack look collective and sane in comparison.

To me Sessler is the perfect example of why I started backing away from video games. 15+ years ago, Sessler talked about how much he loved video games and condemned poorly made or bad games. That's about it. That's all a games had to be was fun and he would enjoy it. Cut to now, the dude has lost his mind, wearing punch nazis shirts and encouraging doxing of random people on twitter. If the game doesn't have enough POC characters, if he knows 1 alt-right twitter account with 5 followers likes the game, anything really, then the game is trash. It must take a lot of work hating something as a job.

One of the more humorous Adam Sessler moments was when he jumped ship from G4 to Spike TV. Both stations covered E3 that year. G4 had a presentation in the convention center as always. Crowds cheering, interviews, the whole nine yards. Spike TV however only filmed in a quiet little room across the street. It was just Sessler and some other dude having boring conversations about video games between press conferences. Sessler looked incredibly miserable.

Also if this B4G4 shit is any indication of a new G4 launch, I don't see it going well. I don't think anyone will argue it's the testing grounds to see if there really is an audience for G4 to come back. If you look at their basic metrics, I don't think there is one. I still would like to see them try and fail though. Streaming is the laziest shit they could produce so of course that's what they did.

It's hilarious to see Sessler condemning someone trying censor games seeing as he is the exact opposite in present day. He truly IS Jack Thompson now.

I remember this, and was wondering the whole time why did he ditch G4 to be on Spike? Spike covers shit only when there's enough ads and viewership to garner the money from it. But then again Sessler can't seem to stick to one project consistently, with Rev3 Games being a good example
