Careercow Adam Sessler - Former G4 Host, Possibly a Coke Addict, Zoe Quinn Orbiter, Increasingly Irrelevant Cuck

Wow, Adam has really went down hill. Back when he still had a grip on his life I got to meet him and Morgan at one of the vidcons they did in Canada. I used to think he was really cool so it's sad to see the person he's become, or turned out to be I guess. I was suprised to see he had a thread on here but it looks like he's earned it.

To me Sessler is the perfect example of why I started backing away from video games.
People in games media or geek culture, or those with clout usually are the end of the day losers. Think Spoony, Jim Sterling, Lowtax, Adam Sessler you name it.
Also if this B4G4 shit is any indication of a new G4 launch, I don't see it going well. I don't think anyone will argue it's the testing grounds to see if there really is an audience for G4 to come back. If you look at their basic metrics, I don't think there is one. I still would like to see them try and fail though. Streaming is the laziest shit they could produce so of course that's what they did.
G4 really was lightning in a bottle. Right place, right time. Unfortunately that tiny frame of its start in 2002 to the merger with TechTtV in 2004 was at the tipping point preluding the advent of public video sharing with Youtube in 2005 and eventual streaming with sites like Twitch that has matured into programs that utterly transcend quality to what TechTV or G4 ever produced.
I think the only show that stands out that hasn't been replicated was Portal. And even that show would've just became the WoW Show due to the stagnation of the MMO genre had it kept going past its cancellation.\

Speakling of Adam Sessler. Anyone remember Scot Rubin of the G4tv.com show? You want to talk about a downhill path, he quickly descended to becoming nuts by the mid 2000's. I remember his Allgames community he tried to relaunch after the cancellation of the initial show, total schizo on conspiracy theories that he tried to push.

I liked Judgement Day
Tommy Tallarico always had the shittiest opinions that aged terribly.

Stuff like REmake and Guilty Gear would want a word with him. His review of GGXX was so cringe. You'd think the cousin of Steven Tyler would understand all the rock and metal homages and references.

I still miss TechTV.

I still miss TechTV.
I never got to watch it, but there was slivers of the original programming until around early 2005 when the transition went in full swing wiping out the identity of both the original channels. The drama on the G4tv forums were amazing. Like two galaxies colliding with so many avatars and gifs of newcomers despising G4tv and its fans.

There's like, a 50 or 200 gb torrent floating around. It was actually a lot of great programming.

Looking up old G4 hosts at the moment. Victor Lucas looking good still, should maybe give the sess some skin care advice.

Cory Rouse, who I thought was a crack head back on Cheat, has gone on to be creative director for Disney's imagineers so hey, not bad.

Anyone know what happened to cybernaut Dave from Portal? Really enjoyed that show when I was younger, but he apparently has dropped off the face of the earth.
