Back in the day, leftism actually stood for something because the problems that they were opposing actually existed; but with the end of the Eastern European (and Chinese) monarchy, you have several million people who needs to be fed and shit that needs to be fabricated. While certain creature comforts may be complimentary, ironically, you're still working the 9 to 5 for basically the same reason you would when money actually existed.

Except that under Capitalism you actually have a say in what the fruits of your labor go to and the freedom to spend your excess funds on whatever you want. You don't have the State deciding on what you're allowed to have, how much you deserve to get, and basically only giving most people the barest amount to barely get by while reserving the best things for Party leaders (the elite). Basically, all the things far-Lefties bitch about Capitalism would be far worse under extreme Socialism or Communism. They're just too stupid and ignorant of history to realize it.

The elite doesn't even get their luxury items from inside the country, because a Communist country can no longer produce advanced goods. Maybe you get on a waiting list to wait five years to buy a car with two years salary, and when you do, it's a Trabant, and it's black, and it will fall apart every few months and need to be maintained because it is a piece of shit.
Meanwhile you can see your rulers driving around in imported Mercedes sedans and dressing in imported Italian suits and drinking imported liquor. Even Commie leaders don't actually want the products of Communism, other than their own power.

It's essentially willfully ignoring history when you can show them how every time Communism is used to govern a nation it fails, and they always reply "Well, REAL Communism has never actually been tried, and those were all (insert lame bullshit on how it wasn't real Communism here)!" They just want their fantastical, unrealistic Communist utopia where they get everything they want free and don't have to work for it, and they'll engage in whatever mental gymnastics it takes to stay in their little fantasy world. Fucksake, even China embraced Capitalism because their country was failing and their people were starving to death under full Communism. They can never answer how it's a sustainable system or how it'll be paid for, aside from some unclear bullshit about making rich people pay for it.
And that's the real crux of things: they're jealous that there are people who have more than them and aren't willing to put in the work to become wealthy themselves. Most people, at least the ones who don't mind working for what they have, aren't bitterly jealous of those who have more than they do. They realize those people worked hard for that money or were lucky/skilled/talented enough to come up with something other people want (a product/songs/books/movies/etc.) to make them their fortune. It's just these lazy, bitter, envious have-nots who vehemently hate rich people and want to take everything away from them, even going so far as to invent bullshit reasons that the rich didn't actually earn that money and really just stole it from poor people. They have to fabricate this outlandish bullshit, because if they accepted reality they'd be dead in the water.

It's not a regional dialect or colloquialism. It's just ignorance. A clip holds ammunition together and is used to feed the ammunition into the magazine. The magazine, whether part of the firearm or removable, is what feeds the ammunition into the action of the firearm. Looks like they learned everything they know about firearms from Hollywood and video games (just like anti-gun politicians) and I'll bet the dumb bitch has never even handled a firearm, let alone owns one. And why do people like this take such aggressive pride in being a stupid, ignorant cunt? Why do they try so hard to justify their ignorance? When someone who obviously knows more about something than I do, I listen to them and try to learn so I'm no longer ignorant about that subject. To me personally I don’t mind if people say clip and when I load my SKS I am literally using a stripper clip so thats what I say whereas on my CZ its a magazine for example but if someone mixes the terms up I don’t mind especially if I mostly go shooting with people who don’t speak English as a first language. That being said Binxy, I also do know immigrants who get the distinction. And others who just shrug and say it doesn’t matter rather than acting self righteous about it.
