Even for you this is terribly tasteless. 3.5 to 5 million dead of starvation (depending on sources it could be double this).


The final line of the article is telling:

"By early 2019, 16 countries as well as the Vatican had recognized the Holodomor as a genocide, and both houses of the United States Congress had passed resolutions declaring that “Joseph Stalin and those around him committed genocide against the Ukrainians in 1932–1933.”"

ADF made up his own stupid impossible island country that conducted violent genocide purges on literal billions of people (who all somehow lived in a landmass about the size of Puerto Rico so you can imagine the living conditions) on a regular basis to the point he probably killed seven times the actual current population of the Earth itself.

Him treating actual real life atrocities is functionally no different. He didn't experience them, they are just words on a page to him. He doesn't have the cognitive function to be able to comprehend the utter tragedy that happened, it's all just edgy roleplay.

You are right, that's my error right there, mea maxima culpa. I come at Phil (as I do everyone) with the idea that nobody can be that unaware and untouched by deeper though. You are right of course, there is no deeper reflection. I erroneously have the idea that people literally think their way into the positions that they espouse.

Maybe I should treat him like the old adage, "the empty bell rings the loudest".

Phil locked in a clear box with nothing to eat but nasty tasing health food would be interesting to see, just to see what he would end up doing. Would he eventually give in and eat? Or would he waste away because it isn't his precious cheese blocks and greasy junk food?

He'd give in. Phil can't actually handle suffering (ironic, all things considered) so leave him locked in a space with any kind of food and he'd eventually (and quickly) give in and eat whatever he could. He would bitch incessantly about it, like he does everything else, but he definitely doesn't have the willpower to actually starve himself if there is ANY presented escape route.

I think it's the childlike naiveite about the world and how...whimsical he is about his ever changing belief structure so long as it's a system that he thinks would promise him a better lifestyle, in complete ignorance of the system that's allowed him to actually even live on his own being a parasite on society.

He also fucking lost a knife fight to an actual potato.

These days, he’s basically harmless. He’s too ineffectual to be a real menace to society. I think Toren basically castrated him (figuratively; of course we know that Philip still has his petits pois). You can’t trick people into thinking you’re a badass when the world knows you got forced out of your bedroom by a middle-aged alcoholic.

No mention of massacre, this is straight detainment, inhumane and understandable, especially for an irregular enemy that has been known to use human-borne explosives. Put simply, arrest, strip them off, and then process them in a secure environment.
