Yes. One of the things that irks me is when Muslims or Christians try to say "Islam/Christianity isn't inherently sexist." Its really hard to take them seriously when you know that in much of the old testament women are essentially property with varying degrees of privilege over the other. (eg. A wife will always be held in higher standing over a concubine, but both are still considered the husband's property at the end of the day.) Or in the supposed "Enlightened" part of the the Bible, women are forbidden to have leadership over men or to speak in Church. Then again, what's our humanity without our contradictions?

Yeah, Phil's soundcloud still has anime playlists. Then again he might be just too lazy to take them down.

To make it clear, I wasn't saying that I believe all followers of the Bible are oppressive and sexist (not trying to get into a religious debate here). I just think that Phil's ilk have a hypocritical view where they downplay sexist aspects of the Koran as being historical remnants while not doing the same for the Bible. They're actually acting the same way as that picture Phil posted, just the other way around.

What a pointless sign. Cyclists are already allowed on all roads (unless they are labeled as "powered vehicle only", such as highways, or have got exclusive bike lanes) and 1.5m is already the distance you keep to bikes, halting cars and other obstacles, at least in those countries Phil's stealing signs from.

There's an entire Tumblr about the same concept, also called Gender of the day. I think it's is supposed to piss off truscum or somthing.

I have to admit that if I ran a blog about cripple jokes and disability humor, and then heard (or saw) the same shit coming out of the mouth (or blog) of a friend I knew had no disability at that time, it would have an uglier tone -- I wouldn't be at all sure whether they were doing it because OMG very funny, saw the light, enjoyed joke, or to make fun of their pal the limping potato with implied permission to do so. It would also drive me bananas if people started flooding my asks with "I am so sorry, I used to park in the handicapped spaces ALL THE TIME, but now I know that..." Oh good, now I'm in charge of absolving shitty abled people? So I can actually sort of sympathize with the above because it sounds like the blog isn't just "Muh Trans Stuff," it's focused on humor specifically.

But, because these things would drive me right up the fucking wall (which is not a place my placard lets me park), I don't run a blog about disability humor. Imagine that.
