In celebration of the new Castlevania Netflix Captain Laserhawk Series and announcement of the DMC one, I decided to make a thread for this bold creative Indian and his upcoming projects that certainly will make gamers looking for more:
adi shankar.png
His previous projects were the very well received Castlevania Netflix Series and the satirical The Guardians of Justice on a time where capeshit itself is a satire , here are the trailers for his most recent projects:
Castlevania: Nocturne According to an article from 2021 he wasn't called for the new series and sued the new showrunners(https://screenrant.com/castlevania-spinoff-adi-shankar-lawsuit-explained/), while he was still credited as an "Executive Producer" he was barely involved and unlikely to even be mentioned on season 2.
Devil May Cry:
Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix:
He is doing an Assassins Creed, a Hyper Light Drifter and a PUBG adaptations, he also claims some of his projects makes part of a connected universe. How can he do that considering copyrights? Netflix money baby!

I'm moderately familiar with Adi Shankar in a fashion I don't want to power-level about, and I'm normally not a guy to run interference for a faggot, but the guy's a pretty genuine case of doing what he wants because he is sincerely interested in the source material. Uwe Boll made dogshit to exploit Germany's willingness to fund anything a German filmmaker does to get rich and fucked with people for a laugh (which is also based) and didn't particularly care about any of it other than maybe Postal.
Shankar is pretty sincere in his interests, but he's also a trust fundie so his tastes are banal and very consumerist. The "connected universe" you're talking about is his "Bootleg Universe" which isn't really a cinematic universe sort of thing, just how he catalogs all of his un(der)successful live-action one-shot projects. The first one, "Punisher: Dirty Laundry" is okay if very sophomoric.

The real reason he gets away with it isn't because of Netflix, it's because his dad was the CEO of Standard Chartered's European and Asian divisions, Vis Shankar. Vis is also now the CEO of a massive investment firm across Africa, Eurasia, and Southeast Asia, Gateway.

The expected social skills from a edgy dude with bloated ego:
Look at that rictus. Reminds me of that chimp picture, the one labeling that his facial expression is fearful and aggressive.

Yeah its not exactly visionary to say do an epic fight scene here to his staff, who actually make the show.
Knowing he's a pajeet makes all the bobs & vegene cringe scenes make sense. The dialogue was always juvenile and edgelord, but again streetshitter explains it

Tell him to adapt boku no pico
From memory he only likes picking up IPs where he can insert gay sex where there wasn't already any gay sex, BnP might have too much as a baseline so he wouldn't know where to add any more...

Barely sat through Nocturne, it's total shit, story-wise for the most part. Go feminism, diversity, spend 70% talking about slavery, "white's god bad". Oh and Annette's a nigger. There you go.

Also, there's just too many pajeets everywhere...cockroaches are milder in comparison.
