Specifically, potential deficits in associating voice tones that imply an emotional valence with corresponding facial expressions. In clinically normal individuals, both vision and audition are used to reconstruct potential emotional states of interlocutors, but as autistic individuals show both deficits in the processing of emotional states and some aberrant brain network connectivity, there may be a link between the two. This is to say, the autistic subject may fail to associate "happy" verbalizations with "happy" facial expressions, and be more likely to fail to notice either congruous or incongruous voice/facial expression combinations.

He's got some with more and that trend will continue since he'll inevitably post some video with a famous microphone's name and a provocative title that climbs quickly. If anything, it's unfair for him to not realize that the world at large is privy to the fact that he's spouting 90% nonsense (sometimes he says true if simplistic things, like other fake experts). Trying to shield him from true if potentially harsh criticism/attention isn't doing him any good either. It's implicitly conceding he's not smart enough to deserve to know that he's not all that he thinks he is. He isn't profoundly mentally retarded, and he's certainly capable in theory of understanding that there are wide gaps in his knowledge despite his enthusiasm, and that speaking too authoritatively is dishonest and damaging to the hobby he loves.

People should definitely do their own research. Review sections on Amazon etc. help, as with any product, but companies have wised up and those are full of shills so look out. Obviously, look at several information sources. Budget also matters. Different microphones are created for different purposes, too.
