I work in the food industry so I can never look my best when i'm at work and I think that hurts me. I'm working hard to lose weight I've lost fifty pounds in the past year. I usually wear light makeup- foundation some concealer and mascara. I struggle with eyeliner (bad eyesight) and never learned how to do much more than that. I am trying to work on my voice but idk if I even sound feminine. Idk I feel like I look feminine sometimes and then the moment I let my guard down or someone sees me from the wrong angle it destroys my confidence. Wearing heavier makeup is not really practical at work so suggestions besides that would be appreciated

Thread title may be misleading depending on your point of view, but it seems to be for covering people who cannot stop sperging about AI art, not for seething about the art itself. Anyways, if site moderation was doing it's job and AI generations are not supposed to be there, this wouldn't even be a problem. Art sites do not have standards in general unless they're solely for professional's galleries. And if we're talking about shitholes like Twitter, good luck finding decent art in the sea of trash even before AI. Just like video sites like Youtube the only real option on the modern internet is to find people that you like and that seem reliable and stick to their output. That was getting harder as search engines got shittier and more corporate-biased and it was nigh impossible well before ai started to get easy to use. I feel the blame falls more in the hands of those manipulating decent search tools into a blind program throwing darts at the wall.

My optimistic outlook on this: it’ll drive some artists offline, with forms of art not easily replicated with a computer. Local art scenes will become more vibrant as it becomes impossible to find other humans online in a sea of bots and bot/output.

It used to be blind as in colorblind, it was a basic identifier of text-based information and what got clicks. The modern Google, and in general most search engines, even those embedded within many websites as in the case of a service like Youtube, they're worse than just blind, they're manipulated to be against even figuring out how to navigate the world, except to gravitate towards whatever a corporate, government interest that gives no shit about their purpose wants them to.

From what I been told they're extremely paranoid and will ban stuff even if they believe its AI "enhanced" or the backgrounds are AI or whatever.

e621? From what I can tell, the staff's tossing it (or just removing it and telling the poster to toss it) onto https://e6ai.net/. Anything that's full AI, not just AI for backgrounds/references/paintovers is against the upload guidelines. I don't know if that's a recent change or not, however.

Even with current models the output is realistic enough that it can get hard to distinguish AI from non-AI art and it's gonna get even harder. So, unless they build an AI to detect AI-generated images, they're destined to get overrun by impostors.
