I don't know how many of you guys use civitai, personally it just doesn't give you enough uses per day to bother with. I mostly just use it to find loras. But a few days ago they announced they were changing their TOS to ban certain things. At the end they say that this is the best option they had.
It sounds very much like more bullshit from payment processors. There's some other stuff which sounds like it was pressure from governments, like requiring metadata and banning stuff of real people. This seems more like bank censorship. The fucking jews are getting in the way of my drunk diaper pissing armed rampage AI art again. Crazy how despite computers relying on magical jewish lightning rocks they hate when you use them? The wording is pretty vague and doesn't really say if you will be unable to generate images on the website if it includes these things. But it will certainly remove any of the loras either completely or at least from search results effectively removing them from the website anyway. Censorship is for faggots and banks are cunts. Honestly, it's a bit meh. The style is someone reminiscent of kyon's, however it just looks a bit fucky. It reminds me of the times where I've used a pony lora on IL or something. There's just something going on that makes it look off.

I don't know how to explain it, but you can see what I mean right? These just look different, remove the name from the account and you probably wouldn't be able to tell it was in kyon's style anyway. Also pet peeve but god fucking damn I hate lora creators sometimes. It takes maybe 10 minutes to boot up gimp and healing brush out the watermarks in your training images, it takes everyone else 1000 minutes in total doing it for every fucking image they make that still have watermarks because the lora creator was too much of a lazy cunt to remove them. One of my favourite loras does the same where it will have random watermarks. But also the kaion guy seems to be kinda new to this. For anyone wondering it's easy to fix. You should be upscaling and denoising good outputs anyway. Just take the upscaled image and brush over the watermark before sticking it in the denoiser or highres fix or enhancer whatever it's called. The images this guy has posted are exactly 1920x1080, I assume he's not generating at that size at least. Just from zooming in the images are pretty low quality though. It might be some twitter fuckery. But I don't think these images have had anything done to them after generation. Pretty common for a lot of the ai porn accounts, just shit out as much low quality shit as possible because you can't see the low quality when you've got cum in your eyes anyway. Also the ballgag on the purple image looks like it's a bit fucky which denoising would probably have cleaned up.

I don't know how many of you guys use civitai, personally it just doesn't give you enough uses per day to bother with. I mostly just use it to find loras. But a few days ago they announced they were changing their TOS to ban certain things. At the end they say that this is the best option they had.
It sounds very much like more bullshit from payment processors. There's some other stuff which sounds like it was pressure from governments, like requiring metadata and banning stuff of real people. This seems more like bank censorship. The fucking jews are getting in the way of my drunk diaper pissing armed rampage AI art again. Crazy how despite computers relying on magical jewish lightning rocks they hate when you use them? The wording is pretty vague and doesn't really say if you will be unable to generate images on the website if it includes these things. But it will certainly remove any of the loras either completely or at least from search results effectively removing them from the website anyway. Censorship is for faggots and banks are cunts. Real glad that the gpu market isn't a shitshow so that I can run models locally

Despite saying the ban would happen in 30 days, civitai has now completely banned all of the content in that TOS update. Trying to generate any image with any banned word is now hard blocked, cannot make anything that goes against TOS, even if you do not post it. All of the loras and posted images have been removed too. As of today drunk sex is as bad as child porn.

The mods have seemingly gotten so many people being incorrectly flagged that they're being blocked from even appealing the bans. I have no idea if this is new or not. I can however say that the mods are going full scorched earth and fucking up on a fair few things. I personally have had two posts taken down that do not in any way go against the new TOS, similar posts still up too. Appealed yesterday and still unreviewed.
And then there was this post. It's one of the most liked posts of the week on civitai, it's nestled quite nicely between some generic genshin impact hentai and some goth girl porn, what a beautiful community. Apparently even got onto the featured section going by the comments. I just think it's cool honestly.
As for me, pixai is still uncensored in terms of generation. I was expecting civitai to go the same way, banned stuff doesn't show up in search but is still generatable. As far as I know pixai will let you do anything short of cp. A fair few people are talking about going over to tensorart, tried it and even using the exact same loras and model and prompts the results are shockingly shit. Until the gpu market becomes anything resembling a market instead of an extortion scheme not really got a choice.
Oh yea and just incase you're wondering how cucked civitai is, here's something I generated in the background of writing this post.

I don't like AI art or the thought of it really as I think human art is always gonna have more direction and passion put into it than AI art, and I totally understand why some artists are concerned and empathize with them, there are some genuinely good/great artists out there who are concerned about AI, but I think the ones who get REALLY assmad over it are worth talking about. Some people go way too far when it comes to that kinda stuff, AI is just simply inevitable at this point, you're never gonna stop it, so just embrace it and keep on chugging, I understand financial concerns however I think alot of people who're gonna be really into AI art weren't gonna be the types that bought your comms anyways, I get the concern, frankly I'd be pretty creeped out and conerned aswell if I could get an AI to generate something in my style almost perfectly, But you just gotta put up with it really. (Not using the term soul or soulless here since they're retarded buzzwords that mean nothing used by people who think they're way smarter than they are)

A human will place details onto an art piece because they want to convey something or enhance a certain piece of the art, an AI will place detail on something because that's what it's been told to do, it's been told that more details makes a better piece, there's no room for symbolism or creativity or anything of the sort, it just lacks alot of what makes art special to me. I wouldn't really call anyone who uses an AI an artist, not out of any pretention or anything like that, but because it's more the AI generator itself making the art than you, sure you gave it the prompt, but I've got alot of half written notepad files for ideas and concepts on my PC laying about, does that make me an artist? Although I will say that AI art with the Skull that fucking "Femboy Fart Huffer" posted is quite nice looking, the scat image not so much. At the end of the day I think there should just be alot of tags and such that allows people who like/dislike AI art to filter that stuff out as they please, I think that's a decent compromise and I've heard there's already been some work done with that on some sites.

Most people's exposure to AI art, and admittedly the vast majority of AI art out there, consists of images generated by a single prompt, but what really excites me about the tech is how it can be used iteratively by a human artist. This video is pretty long but it's a good exploration of the sort of thing I mean:
With enough attention to detail and specific guidance, a human artist can use the AI to add interesting and intentional details to different parts of an image in a symbolic or creative way. Most people churning out slop don't do even attempt to do this, but that doesn't mean it's not possible with AI. In the current year, AI art with mangled hands, incoherent details, and lighting or perspective issues is entirely the result of the creator's laziness and/or lack of skill.
The people who are going to get the best use out of this tech are artists who embrace it and integrate this kind of tooling into their workflows. I've messed around with it myself, but my ability to execute on a specific vision is certainly constrained by the modesty of my own art skills.

Yeah I get that, I do understand why you'd think that since I admit that such terms as "direction" and "passion" are very vague but they do have clear meanings to me. Direction, to me, means the artists intent, what they want to focus on, and how they go about doing it, what details they add, what kind of atmosphere they're going for, etc. Think of something like BloodBorne, the very gothic and beastly atmosphere it's got going for it, the way all of the bosses and monsters are designed in a very intentional way, like Ludwig, who's designed to be able to look like a monster in one pose and a human in another. to me an AI wouldn't really be able to pull that off, atleast not in the way that Fromsoft did. And Passion simply means how much joy and love went into it and how much you can feel that joy radiating off of the work, be it through the art, the dialogue, what have you. To be honest I think this is what people mean when they say something has "soul". Because it seems when alot of people say something has soul, like 50% of the time what they're talking about just applies to passion instead, which is a much better and more encapsulating term than such a vague nothing-term such as "soul", which seems to have a different meaning for everyone.I feel like you are still using those terms, just in a wordier way.
AI assisted art as opposed to AI generated art is something I've never really been against personally, I think aslong as you let people know that AI assisted it instead of taking all of the credit then it's perfectly fine, infact I think that could lead to some very interesting outcomes. Like I said I'm not completely against AI, I understand it's just something that we have to deal with now, I just prefer hand-drawn art personally due to the reasons I said. Using AI as a tool instead of a replacement for the creative process is fine, using it to assist instead of replace is fine aslong is you disclose what you're doing.

The amount of times I've seen large accounts too lazy to even upscale images is just retarded. So many people just stick 'two people having sex please' into the prompt and upload whatever gets spat out instantly, no care for upscale and denoising or manually fixing problems with the image. Just shit out as much porn as you can and hope someone likes it.
Most of the frontpage of civitai is good, there's some shit on there that's like techbro cool but most is actually high quality. Ai stuff is actually really nice if you follow accounts that don't just post porn and actually give a shit about what they post.

But "AI" doesn't make it in a vacuum, an actual person is the creative spark behind the wheel. If it doesn't match what they intended to make, they try again or refine it.
You say AI doesn't place details with intention or passion, but consider how often you actually notice those details, or even receive the message from them that the artist intended to send.
You could probably play a video game with 10 armor sets, where 5 were created with AI (undisclosed to players), and you might never notice anything off about any of them. One of the AI ones might even end up your favorite, with you praising the artist for the cool details they dreamed up.

That is an interesting point, and perhaps in the future I will be proven wrong, I'm not here to shit on people or anything like that I'm just expressing my thoughts. However I have yet to see any AI that really captures me or enthralls me like alot of my favorite hand-made art does, however with how rapidly AI is evolving I'm willing to be proven wrong
The future of an AI is an interesting one, I'll say that for sure, and while I may not be fond or it personally, I don't doubt that it'll be capable of some good shit in the future, I just think there should be full disclosure or filters for AI stuff and I do understand why so many are concerned.
