AI Art Seething General

Well. If I disappear for a while I am redoing my entire fucking computer so I can actually do shit again and not have to dox myself to a government that will literally give people a longer jail sentence for mean words online than the fucking possession and distribution of child porn.

I will not say anything. The feelings I have are too raw to communicate through text on a forum and I will refrain from fedposting. You are smart enough to fill in the gaps.

All I will say is that while treasonous scum deserve to be hung, orwellian fascists deserve a fate that would make mussolini and tianenmen look ethical and humane.

We will never have state mandated tv time, not because they don't want it, but because we have this instead. You will only consume media from preapproved sites. You will get your opinions from exclusively government vetted propagandists. You will not question. You will smile and nod like a good brit should. Make no fucking mistake this is the first step towards our own Chinese firewall, the foundations have already been set, the laws are in place, we already have facial scanners, we already do not have freedom. And yet the niggercattle still do not see the writing on the wall, they will parrot the lies of the government and say it's just a few websites. I look forward to when the powder magazine I live in catches.

I used to be perturbed. I think the point I'll worry about AI is when it is about as intelligent as a dog. It hasn't reached that point yet.

But we'll seriously have to worry about jeets when they're as intelligent as our current AI.

The curation aspect exists in many forms of things people readily recognize as art, e.g. photography.

I'd wager a guess and claim that most good AI art is not recognized as such as people will put in the effort to use it as base to rework it. A simple example is pixel art. Most models can generate pixel art but it'll have errors, color palettes and things that make no sense, It's trivial to rework, fix up, and/or use it as base for whatever it is you wanted to do though. Things like that.

Then there's also loras, which can be made to do very specific things. People share these and most are crap, but there's a ton of actually well-made loras for specific purposes out there people are never going to share, too.

There's a good chance you already looked at a lot of AI art you did not identify as such.

I mean most AI art is just being posted to twitter. You're not up against Dali or VanGogh, you're up against twitter user MikuClussy who posts clown shoe foot fetish art. It's the same on civitai too, sort by new and it's all just futa and hairy fanny. No one is going to go through the equivalent of /r/dickgirls looking for the next mona lisa to put in an art gallery.

That being said I did see a guy who honestly saying miku clussy would be more explainable. Latex jellyfish headed cyclops women? Obviously AI generated, still got thousands of likes and no one noticed despite him posting hourly for a week straight. There's another guy that makes actual foot fetish porn with at least the backgrounds AI generated and just paints the characters in by hand if not using the AI as a guide for them too. No one says anything in his comments either. Despite the honed pattern detection I have gained from this site it honestly took me a while to notice too. Most of the nijijourney posters I see also get 5k routinely and no one even questions it. Those are going under the radar despite, to me, being obviously AI generated let alone something retouched by someone who has traditional art skills. When I say under the radar I mean that the normal people that show up to complain about AI were not there, as we've seen countless times most people don't give a shit either way. I have noticed a little niche of mostly nijijourney posters that have kinda carved out a separate niche on twitter for just that sort of stuff, something divorced from the general art community and more insular so less annoying faggots and still a large viewerbase. Maybe that's where we'll find the vijijournian man or whatever.

Honestly the more I try the more I kinda wish I could do the sort of shit you say. Don't get me wrong I still kinda like going full lazy nigger character + whatever lora looks interesting and slapping the recommended prompts in and going from there. But man trying to do something specific and getting a super promising base only for the denoiser to mangle it regardless of settings is a ballache. Then again even if I tried to learn how to do digital art by the time I was good enough to fix the image the AI could do it for me anyway and I fucking hate digital art so.
