Ai replacing Youtube Content, Media, and News Thread - To AI presidents playing Minecraft, AI porn sites, AI generated content. How long before AI content makes us brain rottted?

I see a lot of complaints about AI slop, but only recently have I started to notice it. For example, if you searched for sports channels, it used to only be channels like Bleacher Report, Secret Base, etc., making videos with real people, but now you have this spamming of AI-generated sports videos with the same exact thumbnail style. Once you notice one, you notice them all. Here are some examples.

These are three separate channels with the exact same thumbnails. It's obviously AI-generated, but to be fair to the Slop Generators, the videos from what I've seen aren't the worst. They mostly cover basic facts from Wikipedia, but it's annoying when I click a video thinking it will be a human only for it to be AI.

:story: i can't tell if this person is beating off to this or if they just really hate James Cameron
I've been told HFY is an actual sub-genre of sci-fi that focuses on humans being inherently superior to alien beings.

It seems from the latest upload in that screenshot that furries are considered human.

I wouldn't be surprised at this point if slops copy themselves and angry pajeet pakistans fucking sue the shit out of each other

There are now dozens of entirely machine generated "music" playlists
This probably infuriates me the most, when they put a fake year on it to make it look legit. I also get recommended a bunch of fake banjo videos but that channel is named something like "SLOW BANJO AI", so at least its obvious (even if they put a bunch of AI-generated "musicians" with banjers in the thumbnail), most of the channels and titles do not mention AI at all though.

LMAO, I went searching youtube for "banjo AI" because I couldn't get the channel with AI in its name to show up in my recommended - I still saw a bunch of AI recommended videos but they didn't mention AI and I found this absolute gem:

I really can't understand what kind of person would voluntarily watch this. Is all the traffic coming from the autoque feature or are there people who genuinely do not care?

Edit: If I wasn't already a fan of Cassius and the upload date wasn't 6 years ago, the phrase "RARE VINYL" would instantly trigger an AI-ignore response in me, which would be a shame, because this is actually a really good song.

My assumption is that it's an mix of artificial traffic and people just going along with it. Most of the shit that I can find is mostly dead unless it's political or it's coomer shit

Not only that but that's happening in shorts too

Different AI voice narration same sentences just rearranged

I've heard the record labels are researching looking at AI to write and compose songs in the future, because why hire and pay royalties to songwriters and composers, when you can just keep all the profits for yourself? That way they only have to pay the star out in front. But as someone said above, these AI vids will occasionally just pop into your feed even if you've not liked any of them.

It will be interesting to see how they play that, since current precedent is that works produced by AI can't be copyrighted. I can't see them giving up their ability to sue people for a bajillion dollars over a YouTube upload.

From what I heard recently. Some companies are using pen names of "anonymous writers" which are actually the AI.

(I don't know if there is a necro-rule for thread, don't hesitate to slap my fingers if needed)

Isn't the whole basis of A.I.-generated content based on making money from it ? And knowing that the big platforms (Youtube, X & co) struggle to stay afloat, and we get more and more ads, we know that there is a bubble about to pop sooner or later. The whole thing is gonna collapse on itself and probably hard-rules against A.I. content.
If I remember right, ads-services are bleeding money.

It's also possible I'm saying shit.

That's been going ever since people are trying to be the next Mr. Beast or those third worlders attempting to make an living off those content farms.

Who in the fuck would repeatedly watch shit like this?

Oh,fuck me. Even the jeets are shitting up the content farms
