Alex has once again chosen to live in a young and hip apartment building that's completely inappropriate for a young child, and she self-doxed before she'd been there a full 24 hours.

...and completely inappropriate for someone in a wheelchair. She claims to be an "advocate" for disabled people and yet she consistently chooses housing based on the view and not how it could make things more accessible for her. I don't see a kitchen sink with space below for the wheelchair or extra wide doors or lower counters. I guess, as everyone has already said, she really doesn't want to cook her own meals or wash her own dishes. She just wants everyone to believe that she does.

Alex gets disability. But Ari also gets disability, because she has a disabled mom. I don’t know what it might be, except they both get the max amount. I had a friend who became disabled with cancer and her kid got a monthly amount too until he turned 18, which helped pay for college. She put his into a bank account for him.

I am certain Alex would consider Ari’s disability her money, not Ari’s, and use it to at least partially pay for a luxury apartment for herself. It clearly best for Ari to be at grandparents with room to run around, but Alex wants to be considered a beautiful young go-getter who just happens to be slightly disabled but is unstoppable. Of course living in a high rise is her desire rather than suburbia, which is best for her kid.

So the Smiths may be kicking in, but between the two disability checks and whatever social media money there actually is, they might not have a tough time swinging it.

Alex move-in updates from TikTok. She's also posting on Instagram, but I'll post that later (she'll probably continue to update it). The TikToks were more interesting.

• Alex lets us know that the wine fridge is her favorite feature of the new apartment and says she can't wait to fill it and put out wine glasses. Yes, the woman with a soon-to-be walking baby said that.
• She reveals that she's surprised to remember that new apartments don't come with toilet paper of baby wipes "to wipe your ass" (yes, she was referring to her own wiping needs, not those of a diaper-wearing baby).
• There's no food for Ari in the fridge, and none of her baby stuff is visible. People had questions, of course, so she later showed a room with Ari's stuff and a stroller.
• She says that the main disadvantage of the new place is that she'll have to wear clothes because of all the windows and because it's in a busy area. Later posts a naked TikTok anyway.

Naked in front of all those windows. Feeding Alex must be like when you know a baby is going to make a terrific mess while eating, so you feed them in their diaper only and plunk them in the tub as soon as they're done. Also, the taco is from Velvet Taco, which is very near her near place. Kind of her to give me the exact name from the menu.

I recognize the intersection she lives on, and despite not having been there in years. I do not think the traffic and congestion has somehow gotten better since I was last there.

It's a nasty intersection because there is a drawbridge right there. Anytime someone wants to take their boat out on the Atlantic the cars all get backed up which means people get frustrated and more likely to run the red lights because no one wants to get stuck there for 10 additional minutes, if not more. FL drivers have earned their notoriously bad/reckless reputation.

Her apartment is right on the Riverfront which is a big nightlife spot in Ft. Lauderdale. She's going to be going out and getting wasted every night and then trying to navigate her drunken way home while dodging cars driven by the confused elderly, careless drunks or impatient assholes.

I'm excited to see what happens next!

None of this looks very wheelchair accessible. These shoe box apartments are cramped for your average biped let alone a drunken dalek.

Finally finished reading the thread and wow. Just wow. This trainwreck of a woman was a rollercoaster of a ride to read.

While the three of them were living in Chicago, it was interesting to hear from the moms on this thread. My experience with babies goes as far as babysitting one for a few hours and even I was screaming "What the fuck are you fucking doing?" at the same things as the mama Kiwis.

It frustrates me the lack of appreciation for how much of a fucking miracle Ari is. The fact that she's so fucking normal and healthy and not completely fucked up. There's so much that could've gone catastrophically wrong because of Alex's condition and her "twerk juice". There are some birth defects that can go unnoticed until much later in life - hell, it took 16 years and 1 college finals week to find out I have a cleft in my brain - but it just kills me to see Alex so oblivious to how fucking lucky she is. I can only hope Ari learns to appreciate how wonderfully normal she came out despite the roadblocks her mother put in her way.

The folks on Reddit speaking of the horrors of the Fruit Farm app absolutely throws me. One need look no further than the disparity between the Deathfat Nursery thread and r/fellowshipofthebib to see just how backwards their claims are. I stopped reading r/fellowshipofthebib because of how they trashed Madi, a toddler with no agency over her life (even less than her peers because her mom made her so morbidly obese she was the size of a 5yo at age 2). The Farmers, on the other hand, directed the mockery at criticism toward the mom who was responsible for her child's obesity.

She would get SSI rather than SSDI, yes. She's active on OnlyFans, but there's no way (that I know of) to determine how much money she's making there. She'd have to be making a significant amount to lose her SSI. The 2024 income limit is $914 (USD)/month for single individuals. That said, I'm sure she doesn't report income properly because she's lazy, dumb, and dishonest-- and she thinks rules don't apply to her.

If you do have SSI, get allowance for a carer, all that sort of thing, you have to be super on top of the forms involved and be vigilant about time limits. I'm willing to bet that all of her stuff still goes to her mom's address, that mom takes care of as much as she can, and that Alex has never properly updated her address. That last bit-- failure to keep her address current-- could get her in trouble, as it's a form of fraud. All speculation, though, of course.

Side note that it always bugs me how she bangs on about ableism yet produces what's blatantly fetish content-- "exclusive disabled body content." She's pandering to a very specific audience, and she knows it.
