I think it's a general rule of thumb, that if some actual harm is coming to children or animals, it isn't considered pozing your neghole. I still wouldn't brag about it on here publicly, but no one would fault you for looking out after an innocent newborn in a very fucked up situation.

Congrats for having the brave morality where you need someone to publicly tell you, yes, you are definitely making the case for the right reasons. I would prefer the kind of people who need public acknowledgment for doing what they allegedly are so strongly driven to act on take a step back, because it's simply not going to benefit the baby to be involved.
