Absolute facts: a redditor posted screenshots from a contact named "Alex Dacy". Occam's razor: Ari is with the Smiths and two bored redditors changed their contact names. The other option is that, while being the responsible adult, Alex's mother picked up Ari and left and, somehow, Alex has managed not to mention this.

Sometimes parents leave their small children with grandparents for a break. Maybe Noah and his family went on a baby unfriendly vacation and thought it would be a nice time for Ari to bond with her other grandma and made an offer. Not everyone has contentious and miserable relationships with extended family, even in light of divorce/separation.
