Virtue singal? More like virtue shield

View attachment 3718177

Alicia is new to the social media game but she should still know that putting out videos like this always feeds the conversation and never shuts it down by now.

And her music is always shit.
Its almost like she sees child adoption as Pokemon card collecting. "Black, and burn injuries? This is a rare child I must collect, it will increase my virtue signal ability by +30!"

Ah sweet, this one's Mythic! But it has a cost of six Island. Man I don't even have a blue deck.

*I don't really know anything about Pokemon cards, I was just going off of whatever I could conjure up in my sperged mind and combined knowledge of rpg games.*

Anyways, I have something to add about Alicia. Before she got her house blurred on Google street view, she had (probably still has) a blue lives matter sign in the front yard. And in a old Instagram post, Dash had a "build the wall" shirt put on him. Kinda funny, as trump is the same person that is responsible for cutting funds to valuable social services, many that her kids rely on.

*you obviously don't know anything about Magic The Gathering either but that's okay, it made me laugh really hard.*

Now that I'm thinking, do you see anything in Alicia that you also saw in Chris Chan? I'll start with the one that's the most obvious, absurd spending habits.

Chris is such an easy person to compare anybody to really. Chris really is the quintessential lolcow, sharing the traits of all other lolcows since he more or less is the profile which everyone else is compared to. I don't the question is totally fair to be honest.

I saw alishuh's socks before this but holy shit her kids socks are actually decrepit. It seems like she'd rather buy useless shit for videos than basic necessities. Wearing shoes without socks is just asking for a fungal infection, especially in the summer.

Oh, and she should actually mop her floors frequently especially with the dogs bringing in dirt from the outside. She cleaned up dog piss with Kleenex, instead of soap and water. I'm pretty sure she also left paper towels over a puddle of it for a few hours.

That's crazy since she was buying a bottle or two of spot cleaner every week for awhile because, "the puppy is getting better but still has accidents sometimes!" So she over purchased something useful and doesn't bother using it.

Their house is such a shit show. Here's a sampler.

That's a $130 water bottle laying on the floor

Things Alicia has business spending money on: a house that can accomodate her children, a water system that can accomodate her children, AND SOCKS FOR THE CHILDREN GODDAMN, THEY'RE BRINGING IN ALL THE MONEY.

As the kids grow up Alicia will realize that she's not pulling in this audience.

I'm pretty sure the older kids already know, but just go along with her antics because they get whatever they want.

Example A - Alishuh once spent $400 (?) on cologne for Neveah and Dayshaun

Example B - Probably has been mentioned before, but she bought Neveah $140 cleats for *trying out* at soccer. Not to play on the team, or even practice on the school field but just team tryouts.

I really hate to be That Guy but one set of ratty socks isn't a pattern.

I get having comfort clothes and loving them no matter what state they're in - but socks? A pair of socks that a kid's big toe goes straight through needs to be thrown away. How they come through the wash and Alicia dead ass folds them and gives them back to the kid over and over again is... just bizarre. It's wet and cold where they live. And I can't even tell what color they were originally.

Besides being disgusting I can't see how this is helping the kid, who reportedly needs extra time and attention to learn how to take care of himself, recognize the point where a piece of clothing has become impractical and get rid of it.

Example A - Alishuh once spent $400 (?) on cologne for N and D

And then when J wanted to get one she told him no, while Our 5-Year-Old With Autism was probably licking a mirror. J is already locked in for life damn it, she's working on the foster kids now!

It's October now and no one has mentioned them going back to their mom like they were supposed to in August. Alicia actually seems to be planning on having them indefinitely.

What's the over/under on Alicia letting these kids cool in the system for months/a year while thinking about how accepting them into their home would affect youtube? (which, she admits in a video, it has) I guess it took her that long to remember that John 14:18 is her guiding scripture.

Anyway, she talks out her decision making process in this video right here. In the end she acknowledges it's a bad idea but God told her to do it, so, y'know

i

I think some muddying of the waters is going on here, and it's not just on their socks.

Alicia doesn't know where these kids would go if she doesn't take them, since they're a sibling group (of minority status!) There's just no one else who will take them. Except she does know where they would go if she said no. Because they've been there for a year. In foster care. While she was thinking about if she was going to say no or not.

I'm realizing that Alicia is quite delete happy with her content. There are two specific videos I would like to reference for this post, but they are gone now and don't appear to be archived elsewhere. She's a wily one! I guess for now I'll just describe them and trust that it happened until/if they resurface.

Video one was shot while leaving the courthouse after being awarded temporary custody of N and D. Alicia was on her way to pick them up and made the John 14:18 proclaimation - "I will not leave you as orphans, I will go to you."

The situation the children were coming from was described in vague detail.

Video two was shot some months after N and D joined their family and was focused on an increase in trolling and bullying behavior. If I remember correctly this video was made in the car by herself. In it Alicia admitted her hestitation to take in the kids because the family was worried that this would happen - people would hate them for being too kind and too generous and too loving to these kids who she loves so much now and won't change her decision for anything and wished she made it sooner.

Or something roughly along those lines.

It makes it all very interesting to wonder how much she would want to keep this kids in her house if viewership had actually gone down afterward. Instead it exploded. N is probably the fans' favorite kid, for mostly fucking degenerate reasons. D brings his own supporting cast with his girlfriend and her brother who are both in her vlogs on a regular basis,

It would hurt the channel if they went home at this point.

I thought those mfs were shoes in the first pic, this is inexcusable. Do you think these kids are some chaps, chumps, dumbasses, whatever you may think?

Buy them a case of new fucking socks every week and tell them to drink some tap water at home instead of buying $100 of bottled water every week.

@Trees Sorry for the funky formatting, the site is broken on my phone… Funny, I was just trying to make out how much she makes per foster, and I couldn’t find any info about how much someone in Monroe county makes per person. Anybody got the answer to this? She claims 70-something cents per hour, but I’m 100% sure that is bullshit. Anyone wanna do some deeper diving? I was getting frustrated looking through the broken shitty NY websites that mainly didn’t include statistics.

Alicia isn't compensated by the state to care for the foster kids because they're on the family and friends plan. It would be more accurate to call them the kinship kids.

That's why she can have them on youtube for alternative gains.

It's really not easy to get a straight forward answer on the compensation system. It kind of needs a formula for age, disability, and so on. An individual can even command more based on experience/training. I did find this handy chart tho

Huh interesting. But is it really safe to assume that the black kids and some of the others are considered family and friends? I really have no idea how much tiktok can make you, but I’m assuming she probably receives a considerable amount from foster support. Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know shit about the funds received from it.

The kinship kids are the children of a friend from Alicia's childhood. Where their relationship stood at the time Alicia took in the kids is up for debate, but the state was happy to take the mother's recommendation of Alicia and effectively remove them from foster care.

The black twins are adopted. I think she probably get a subsidy for all the adopted kids.

Whatever it is I think it's safe to say that state support is a drop compared to Youtube. Excluding sponsorships, Alicia earns in the range of $30,000 per month between youtube and tiktok. That's probably a conservative yet unpredicable estimate. After all, who knows what they'll make next month.
