TGWTG Allison Pregler / Obscurus Lupa / Movie Nights - The vindictive leader of #ChangeTheChannel, GOTIS personified, vendetta against The Cinema Snob

Allison never had charms and sense for humor like Brad or Phelan, best thing she was able to do is ride along with them.
I also don't like Lindsay Ellis, but Lindsay at least had some interesting takes, and she deffinatly has more brains and comes of more educated then Allison. (Bonus: Nostalgia Chick also had cute face that made her whole army of loyal simps).

Phelan has found his little niche and he genuinely enjoys his work as a youtuber. He is very childish person, however his videos are not bad and you can have fun watching some of them.
I didn't watch Lupa's videos in years and the ones I did watch (while she was still part of CA) aren't that great. If not for Phelan she would turn herself into another JesuOtaku, or even Spoony 2 - light version.
I think Lupa would be more irrelevant if she was never with Phelan since no one would know about her really and she wouldn't that much clout since I think Lupa is more famous for being with Phelous all the time rather than being herself

Don't underestimate the power of being a omg irl girl on nerdsites like tgwtg.
Not really since TGWTG had many irrelevant female producers who were more attractive than Lupa. Lupa is a vapid boring attention whore who is only famous for her relationship, being in some crossover episodes with Doug/Brad, and her drama.

She was played up as being the hot one whenever they had their little anniversary movies. And this carried on in some of their individual reviews later on especially where Nostalgia Chick, Todd in the Shadows ans ERod were concerned.

I think her relative popularity has a lot more to do with her being on TGWTG at the right time. It was during what a lot of fans would call the heyday of Channel Awesome, it was at a time when there were not so many contributors that it was easy to get lost in the shuffle, she was on the site long enough to be remembered by fans from that era, and, yes, there was still some novelty in seeing a woman talk about nerdy shit back then. If she had come on the scene just a year or two later, it would have been too late for her to even acquire the following that she has.

She also came onto the site early enough to get crossovers with big name contributors like Brad and Doug (even if it was just cameos), so that helped her gain some popularity. It's certainly the way how I learned about her.

OK, even back then, I wouldn't have picked out Alison as "The Hot One".

Honestly, it would have been Lindsey, and there was one other one who was with one of the podcasts that was pretty cute IIRC. Kat something or other.

But fuck, I'd even pick Marzgurl as being hotter than Alison and they played up Marzgurl as being unattractive on purpose!

Goggles was the hot one. She had a brief career as a camwhore later on. No idea what she's doing now.

Time hasn't been kind to Lupa. Nor have her aesthetic choices, including frying her red hair, which was one of the best things she had going for her. I thought she was attractive when she was all goth'd out in 2010 and sang for the intro of her Sci-Fi double feature series.

Why is everyone suddenly assuming engagement = marriage? They're doing what every convenience couple does when they hit 30, get engaged to add legitimacy to their pairing but never do anything with it. I know a ton of these people in real life. They just feel fucking weird calling someone "my girlfriend" when they're a grown ass adult who has been dating a decade. I'm not going to deep dive her twitter looking but did she even get a ring? I guarantee they are not wedding planning nor planning to cohabitate. The entire K1 visa process is expensive and a lot of fucking work. 2 things we know these 2 are allergic to. Shit is never happening.

After Carman died I wanted to go back and watch a video about him I saw years ago, then I remembered it was a Lupa & Brad one so of course she deleted it in a temper tantrum.
Carman died? That's a shame. I liked Brad's take on him but the video she did with Brad was just painful to watch.
