These people are looking to cause misery. The enjoy the destruction of your hobbies and cultures. They get off on the defiling of a good thing and the violating of good standards. They see these productions not as entertainment but as a medium to push propaganda and remove competition.
Well then, they have spectacularly failed. I am a Fallout fan ever since they first games released more less, since the late 90s, and I am having a blast right now. I haven't laughed so hard since the Frontier controversy, and yet I have people telling me I am somehow "seething" in the main Fallout thread(including by one poster who is trying to bait harder than
@You Gotta Get Over It and somehow fails at getting a reaction) for enjoying the train wreck.
You are already seeing Todd and Emil backpedaling on this, they know this is bad even tho it will make them money. I have no clue what happened, but I doubt this will be as canon as people think. People overestimate how much this will actually impact the franchise, this is seasonal slop at best and people will only be talking about this in the following months to talk about the "Todd hates New Vegas" meme(that probably isn't even a meme) and to talk about how much Lucy wants to breed, just like /v/ made Ryder of Mass Effect Andromeda out to be a literal lego playing autist from her weird face expression and dialogue.
Enjoy the ride while it lasts, but don't get heated over it. This will end up having about as much of a splash as Starfield does, and many fan project that are actually going to be canon(to the fans) are coming rather soon. Nearest fan project is coming out in less than two weeks time and most people will have forgotten this show by then.
I saw one of those lore milking channels, Triangle City or something, posted a community tab announcement of the show yesterday. Then as soon as the show went online and people started shitting on it he posted another one with a painful meme "Fallout Gone Woke brother it has always been woke" cope about how the games were always political.
People proceeded to shit all over him on the comments, calling him retarded and pointing out how political commentary isn't the same as wokeness and that the series is shit.
Faggot deleted the post, and is now even deleting comments made on the previous announcement post where people are critical of the show or shitting on him for deleting his take like a bitch.
Particularly funny since this is a lore slop channel and the series just destroyed pretty much the entire bread and butter of his content by wiping out 90% of the cannon.
Triangle City? The guy who had a twitter page full of nothing but naked women "models" and had it banned for just that? The guy who is most likely holding out on a rare TGS2010 build of New Vegas and not letting it go because his discord troon buddies told him to keep it from the unwashed hands of gamers?
His videos are actually interesting, since he has exclusive interviews with devs and does independent research, but he is a bit of a lolcow. Got any screenshots or archives?
