The funniest part of the filler is yet to come, and it also makes Mark into the dumbest most selfish Gorilla Nigger you'll ever see.
I am of course talking about the random omnipotent blue space spaghetti that sends Mark back in time to the series start, and how Mark uses the opportunity to save all the OG Guardians as well as prevent Omniman from fucking his reputation into the ground, also saving countless lives.
The alien thing shows up to Mark again a couple weeks in and Mark demands everything be undone so he can go back, an action that directly leads to Earth being doomed (it tells Mark this, and it comes to pass, the Immortal's dystopia future IS the future). All because he fucked up the Eve route and he didn't get with her.
It all falls apart when you realize that he could have just helped Angstrom and had the magical negro open a portal back to his original timeline. But whatever, Mark is a stupid evil selfish cunt no matter the timeline, our one is just more self righteous than most.

Kirkman is a hack. Also all of the above was an excuse to have Mark get cucked by his slut of a partner.

If it wasn’t for Omniman, would anyone have started watching this shit?
Well, I discovered the comic because of it, and enjoyed it. So yeah.

But it's more of a:
>Season 1 of a TV show introduces me to comic
>Comic is great, wonder how they're going to portray certain scenes in the TV show
>TV show takes differences, which leads to re-reads of the comic

and the cycle goes on.

Didn't expect Jeffrey Dean Morgan to voice Conquest but guess Kirkman wanted to get more people from the Walking Dead again

Anyway liked the episode, and the best part was definitely Mark vs Angstrom, that fight was pretty good

You mean Thragg, not Conquest.

edit: oh shit, just saw the episode. I expected Conquest to be voiced by Jonathan Banks. Shieeet.

Now I wonder if they're gonna have Jonathan Banks voice the goat Brit.

edit2: I am a fucking idiot. Can't even recognize Mike Ehrmantraut.

Enjoyed the epsode, only thing i'm a bit disapointed was Rexplode sacrifice

I was looking foward to it, but they made it too mopey, drawn out. I aways read it as more desperate, fuck you type of deal, didn't even show marks top half gone after

But overall they didn't fuck it up, here's hopefull they go 2 for 2 with conquest

Why is the truly invincible guy who is not British in Invincible called Brit and not literally anything else?
His real name is Brittany actually. Brit is just his nickname.

Then again, Brit has been around since WW1.

Also, speaking of the episode, I imagine the majority of the budget went in these two last episodes. Mark vs Armstrong was pretty well animated, compared to the previous slideshows of the seasons.

/co/'s bitching about this, so I figured you all have nothing better to do than to suffer with me.

Obligatory notice of the hundreds of people completely unaware that this is made by North Korean slaves.
Say what you will about the animation but even if it had the best animation, it can never compare to the detail of the comics and it is simple.

It is moving pictures while a comic picture is a still frame that needs to have as much detail as possible.

If they tried to replicate the comic to the last feature, the show would be more of a slideshow.

That and comics are not storyboards for an adaptation, they are their own medium

Man, I wish we had more focus on the Invincibles but that was nice. The fucking banter between them. Actually made them more than the MC in a different outfit it almost always is.

More budget should've been given to that one explosion. It really needed it. But otherwise the hopeless build up until then was nice.

Best motherfucking Tiger is here.

Is it just me, or is this current season particularly much worse that the prior seasons?

They seem to stretch out moments that are not even good slice-of-life pauses, and then shit out the good major plot points like they are Kathy Griffan full Oat Branned up on a Squatty Potty.

Did they do something like put chicks in charge, leading them to focus on the stuff that they are interested in and failing? DEI? Diversity hires? Changes in staffing? Change in budget? What the hell changed?
