Gotta agree with you on that one. Aaron Paul was the most blatant "He is not doing a voice, he's just playing himself." and I could only picture Jesse Pinkman whenever he talked. Not a bad performance though, just a Jesse Pinkman with superpowers. Bitch.
I wish the budget went to the animation rather than this ridiculous star casting, honestly. No one gave a shit after the first season ended. I bet you didn't know Multipaul was voiced by ricecel Simu Liu. Crazy, I know.

Actually (sadly?) I did. Also I wholeheartedly agree on the animation budget. Some parts are okay, but others are borderline a slideshow like some of those cheap animes that came out in the last couple of years.

Also the two time-traveling brothers are voiced by Xolo Mariduena, the kid from Cobra Kai and Blue Beetle.

i love that guy
twins were pretty boring though but that's typical of one note characters

imagine paying millions for star casting extremely minor roles

Fucking... MAHERSHALA ALI as Titan. I do love Walton Goggins as Cecil, and I definitely can't wait for Jonathan Banks as Conquest.

I think Aaron Paul did a good job but I think it could've been fine if they just got a regular voice actor.

Also as a side tangent it's honestly annoying how Amber keeps reappearing with her role just being "Yeah Mark you and Eve dating is cool" as a weird reassurance that just feels unnatural. She's still more likeable than Season 1 but that's a low bar

I was disappointed that Amber didn't have a black eye from her bf. Maybe she'll pay the toll at a later date.

I hope Debbie's boyfriend meets Omni-Man and he's like "too bad your wife not getting fucked by me isn't one of your superpowers, Omni-CUCK" and it makes him fly off the planet crying again.

Paul cucks again. First he cucks Spider-Man, now Omni-Man.

I, personally, have never had a problem with the animation. I am quite impressed by how good the show looks overall. Keep in mind, each episode is 45 minutes long. Few cartoons have a runtime like that.

Atleast it's not that Velma show made by that bleached pajeet cunt.

My other issue was with Powerplex... His characterization was unbelievable to me. I could buy his motivation for revenge. What I couldn't buy were his actions. The guy and his wife had the wherewithall and forethought to steal gov't supertechnology and set up a sting to bait Mark into coming to him. Yet, somehow, he thought it was a good idea to bring the guy he felt killed his sister right to his wife and kid? And furthermore, to pick a fight with that guy 10 feet away from his family, knowing he has the strength to level entire buildings?

I also thought Mark's actions where unbelievable in that fight. He saw the family almost get crushed by bricks. Why not bring the fight outside, or at least retreat and bait the guy out? And he doesn't clap back at the guy after he accused him of killing his family?
The characterization seems about the same as it is in the original material. Only big difference I can think of is when just before Powerplex electrocutes his wife and child, his wife looks more concerned rather then smiling.

It's perhaps a little dumb, yes but also may serve the purpose of making Powerplex more of a villain rather then a gray person who is driven entirely by vengeance. The death of his family by his own actions and the refusal to take accountability makes him less sympathetic. A character like him could drive an entire comic series on its own but Invincible obviously isn't his story.

My god. All of the relationships in this current season three are tedious. The writers just cannot do love relationships or love interests at all. It wasn't just Amber that was bad and insufferable. Unless a character has some major plot points to move the story forward, they are unbearable to watch as the side piece.

I'm not gonna lie, I think I fucking loathe the inclusion of all the celebrity voice actors that don't have a background in VA stuff already.
Having Jesse from Breaking Bad keep screaming HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT for an entire episode's runtime was a fucking meme.
It's especially noticeable when the pro VAs like JK Simmons or Clancy Brown basically steal every scene they're in.
Uh well Aaron Paul was a VA on Bojack Horseman for years, also basically playing himself, but not sounding so phoned-in...

The worst meme actor on the show is Rex. It's funny they got a different guy to play Rudy (Ross Marquand, who also plays Immortal) and he does the guy's own voice better than he does.

More filler shit. I'm out.
Kirkman says he needs seven seasons minimum but has enough story for ten. You could have done the Viltrumite storyline in probably one or two seasons at most though. And without things like alternative dimensions and parallel universes you could probably conclude the Viltrumite plot in a movie trilogy.
