Amazon's Invincible - thoughts?

The implications of Viltrumites being able to physically rip each other apart kind of bugs me. Could a Viltrumite tear off his own arm, for example?
Think of it like this if I grabbed a squirrel I could rip its head apart. I can't rip off my own arm. Now imagine the squirrel is now a Viltrumite whos of similar build and height as I am and nothings changed. Conquest can kill 99% of all heroes on Earth regardless of how big they are just like how Frieza despite being shorter than Vegeta can literally crush the skulls of people 5x his height.

That wasn't what was being questioned at all, though? The thing being questioned was the fact that a viltrumite can rip other viltrumites apart.
It's not "me vs squirrel"
It's more akin to UFC fighters somehow pulling peoples limbs off.
Viltrumites to other Viltrumites should have the same level of durability (both have Smart Atoms) and their fights should be more akin to a fight between humans with that in mind, where their respective sizes and muscle mass are important. Invincible for better or worse isn't Dragon Ball Z.

look, theres only so much they can do with the 2 million dollar budget they get on this (this seems like a lot, but the boys gets 11 million an episode, so i mean they can do better) and only so much those poor north korean animators can do with such little time
That explains why they add in cgi as much as possible to save time, even in the conquest episode you see it in the background. It's even worse when they just move pngs around

i'll wait to see a full roster later. theres at least 8 characters going into this but i know it'll be more

I don't envy the guys who are tasked with coming up with distinct movesets for 20 flying bricks.

I hope they accidentally signed away Omni-Man as an MK exclusive, just because that would be funny.
I can already envision them only referring to him as "Nolan", why else would they choose the Viltrumite uniform for him?

Vidya time
Oh boy, I can't wait to play as
-Flying brick
-Black flying brick
-Flying brick that presumably because of trademark reasons doesn't have his iconic outfit
-Flying brick with a knife in her hair
-Bulletproof flying brick in a series where every flying brick is also bulletproof
-Rex Splode The Best Character
-Lady with the most versatile powers perpetually using the most boring applications for them
Not really a solid lineup for a superhero fighting game.

It's basically "we have Mortal Kombat at home".
Apparently it's from people that worked on Killer Instinct 2013, so you're not far off the money.

I could easily think of 6 or 7 characters that if they didn't stick to the fucking show would actually be somewhat interesting outside of the flying bricks they're forced to include, but I highly suspect that this game will not touch a single thing past Season 4 next year outside of outfit references like Bulletproof's Invincible alt in some trailer I saw, so good fucking luck gentlemen.

No cap if the game was about 3d fly-fights and environmental destruction (think DBZ fighting game meets EDF) it would legit be a good game and it would make sense yo have only fighting bricks there. But it looks like a generic fighting game...

What bothers me is that viltrimites have 10k years of science and super bodies and all they do is... Fly and punch? Imagine if humans tried to invade a planet by sending in 100 unarmed guys.

They could have creative weapons: a megaton cannon only viltrimites can lift, super-dense armor, even strapping a nuke to their chest and detonating it point-blank seems like a viable option... We see foes like technojacket and the lone ranger have super powerful tech... A viltrimite could master all the sciences in 100 years and then McGuiver a nuclear device out of scraps. Fuck, even twisting a plane with bare hands into a Megablade sounds creative...

Same as most of the actually relevant/strong powers in Invincible barring Eve (sometimes) and Space Racist.
Flying Brick with no additional powers.
It's a Superhero setting and the only powers that ever mean anything are flying brick or in some rare cases, flightless brick. Everyone else is almost always completely superfluous and can be ignored as they have no chance at defeating a Flying Brick.
Don't believe me?
All Viltrumites: Flying Brick
The Immortal: Flying Brick
Battle Beast: Flightless Brick
Bulletproof: Flying Brick
Allen the Alien: Flying Brick
Mr. Liu: Can transform into a Flying Brick Dragon
Angstrom Levy: Ability to summon Flying Bricks
I kinda wish that now and again, they would throw some power in which it becomes more of a battle of wits rather than raw strength, each fight just feels like a stamina contest, like Viltrimites are supposed to be the smartest race, right? So why don't they have any actual tactics or fight coordination when they capture one of their own? Literally 10% of their population was wiped out trying to capture and execute a guy, I feel like a little more coordination could have helped out.
