For someone like ML to attempt to arbitrate about morality is delusional and ridiculous. He's exploiting a woman for profit and e-fame, and trying to cash in identity chips about ethnicity and sexuality does not wash his ethical hands of anything even if he thinks it does. I don't have a moral quandry about making fun of AL - it's immoral, it's fun, I don't care - but holier-than-thou sermonising in the same breath as slagging off AL for fun and profit is not cute.
 
I didn't watch because I don't know who any of those people are, besides CXNT. It doesn't sound like I missed much, though.

I watched all the live (missed probably the first eight or so minutes), and not only he brought out the fact that he is black, but he also brought out <i>multiple times</i> that he used to be fat, that he had weight loss surgery and that he had a rough childhood/a difficult relationship with his parents.
Although I don't think ML will ever become a cow (he seems to have an actual life with friends and interests, not to mention that he is far more smart than most of the cows on the farms), he definitely has the potential to become one.

He brought up the diversity angle within minutes of the streams start, going insofar as to say that AL isn't as diverse because all she has is gay people on her videos. (Im sure that was just thrown in to not seem AS petty as he usually is) . I am not sure why he did, didn't seem to have much relevance to what was about to be discussed.
 
I'm not mad but the merch thing is just criiiinge. If I liked any of these people enough to support them, I'd prefer to give through patreon or similar; I'd whitelist their channels in adblock, etc.

This isn't an issue exclusive the ALR sphere. People these days seem to be ashamed of having a patreon so they produce this garbage merch to feel like they're actually offering something and not e-begging. But straightforward e-begging is more dignified than this, imho

Not sure why he does that but they are constantly pointing out how much better they are than AL. Even other YT ALR reuploaders ; when critiqued, they get pissed off sometimes even going into the comment section of their videos to argue.
How is that behavior any different than what AL has done/does.

This. This is my reason why I don't like ML. He's using his victim cards while having a go at AL for playing the victim. The "evil drumpf!!" Statements are so boring and delusional. ML, stop using the colour of your skin and your homosexuality for victim points, you are not discriminated against in the slightest, you're just experiencing life.

Michael has nothing to do with the merch. He did not create it nor was he the one pushing it, so we can get that out of the way. I can't speak for the shirts and whatever else was on that other page, but I started letting the patches stitch in the background while going about my day on my embroidery machine after they gained some interest here on KF first. They were created here back in April in the Artberlynn thread and some people showed interest in them there. While I agree with the sentiment of "where would I use this item," many people got them just to kind of have themselves a giggle and have a keepsake of this mess. I've seen comments on Michael's videos about the patches and received some messages on etsy asking me to do a few more, so I let them stitch up and linked the etsy. Don't worry, I didn't enslave a hoard of child slaves from any country to make them.

As for the other merch that was being linked... I have no clue where that came from or who produces it.

No sarcasm. Thanks for bringing it to my attention that it seemed pushy, I honestly didn't think linking it 5-6 times in the 3 hour stream was harsh with how fast the chat was going but I guess we're all blinded by our own stupidity at some point. Cheers.

It's funny to think that ML built his audience shitting on every single thing amberlynn does, never forgetting to add how HE does everything better AND is more oppressed while doing it. But if he just made videos talking about his surgery, journey, struggles, whatever... no one would give a fuck, he wouldn't have views.

What he's doing is the definition of powerleveling, maybe that's why some people here have an aversive reaction to him in particular. ZM isn't nearly as bad about comparing himself to fat AL constantly, and none of the others do it either, really.

And usually what happens with those type of situations is they become their own cows.
We have seen this with many other lolcows like DSP with the Sons of Kojima etc etc
Not saying they are like SoK but things go tits up when a group is centered around drama.
They end up eating one another.

If people enjoyed it, awesome. Personally not so much for me. When a group of folks form a clique to talk about a cow eventually they will talk shit about one another and they all end up turning on eachother. It's happened before.

Tbh I was getting Sons of Kojima vibes from the whole thing the second I heard about it. All the people individually are fine, but you dont need a podcast to talk shit on AL.

Are there seriously people who watch Amber's videos looking for diversity? She's a fat freak show, not a SJW HAES channel.

I think it was just an off-the-cuff observation in the context of Amber's world, i.e. living with only gay white hicks. It was hardly meant to boast about the group that was chatting in a holier than thou way.

I don't know why a lot of people are up in arms about this livestream; it was just a fun shooting-the-shit kind of thing to do between people who make videos about Queen Amber. I'll hold reservations until/if they do something super shitty.
 
I personally enjoyed watching these guys discuss all the ridiculous things about Our Gorl in real-time. It was funny and entertaining. People who are REEEEE-ing about it need to lighten up.
 
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that ML rubs the wrong way...I liked his video about "food aggression" but he doesn't seem like enough of a success story to start coming for AL. Clearly there's some "at least I'm not like her!!!" A-logging at play there.
 
I watched for like 10 mins and in that 10 mins , the black guy brought up twice that "he's been called a ni***r in public, and AL has no idea how hard that is" I realized very quickly that they had nothing new or exciting to share about AL and the last 8 mins that I watched was some random chick talking about her vegan lifestyle and KY, which didn't have anything to do with AL. They didn't communicate with the chat AT ALL , so I don't really understand why it was streamed, except for getting their channels out there more, even though they created so much hype about it. I'm not "mad" just giving my input as well.

I have no idea who any of the convention panel participants are outside of what they post or have posted about themselves in here, but the 'muh diversity; REEEE,' guy sounds like you can probably make a thread on him even if it's only trafficked by the users who post in this part of the site exclusively already.
