If her 'fitness pal' is telling her to eat 2,900 calories a day I'm thinking it has her Basal Metabolic Rate + Activity around 3,900 calories per day. This would produce a 7,000 calories/week deficit and a healthy (Not Legally Actionable) weight loss of 2lbs per week. Losing 0.6lbs, despite not even being significant enough to call it 'lost weight', if we take it as actual fat lost would mean she had a 2,100 calorie deficit this week or, according to her 'fitness pal', that she was eating 3,600 calories/day or some variation that led her to 25,200 calories consumed this week.

Maybe it seems like a lot to her because she's eating 2,000 or so less calories/day than she had been. JFC just realized she cut out the entire amount of food I eat on my highest calorie intake days and is still eating double what I do on an average day.

God she's frustrating, she says she does everything herself except drive but we also know she doesn't do laundry, walk her dog, she sure as hell can't cook for herself (throwing slop in a pan and shovelling it down her gullet is not the same thing), she can't walk 100 steps without needing to rest, she can't open her own bank account, hold down a real job, lose weight by herself, standing to do dishes looks like it causes her serious pain. She thinks she does so much for herself because the little bit she can do is so difficult. That's not normal, Amber!
