She really doesn't, she has no idea of what actual pain or selfessness, people talk shit about Becky but fair play at least she is there for her Mom even after their turbulent history it takes an actual adult to put aside any transgressions of the past and be there for them in the present.

Most Kiwis here probably know how hard and wrenching it is caring for someone who is possably or is terminal and its an experience that really makes individuals going through it reflect who is really there for them as they are travelling, emotionally tempered etc etc so this experience I think will at least give Becky some foresight of how real people function. And you're totally right -- she underestimated Destiny and she's underestimating Becky.
