TBH she looks smaller in the December picture. I know the angle isn't exactly the same, but her arm looks smaller, and the under-chin fat looks the same or maybe slightly smaller, as well as the distance from shelf to gunt. This really isn't showing whatever the hell she thinks it shows.
Also it's cute that she updated her IG but didn't update the current weight on it to reflect that she is no longer a dainty 519.6 lbs.

Perhaps she's finally learning that there is no such thing as a 500lb after picture.

She's putzing around with her weight loss anyway. But then again, what else is new?
She specified in a Q & A that her current weight loss started on October 8th. Did she start calorie counting, portion control or exercising on that date? Or is it simply the date she fessed up to 572.whatever pounds? Because I'm pretty sure she was still devouring bushels of food a few months back.
When did she actually start the current weight loss effort & what was her weight THAT starting date? What if anything, changed about her eating on October 8th. If she was playing this straight, if she wanted to lead by example and/or inspire - she'd be frank about those pesky little details.
She doesn't want to 'inspire'... that's her code for wanting ass pats & adulation & in her simple, child like mind, she thinks the way to get those are to make losing weight seem easy & magical. After all, unless someone keeps a magic wand for weight loss hidden in a drawer, THEY have to work hard at it. SHE just... wishes her way to weight loss, all the while shoveling in the food making her a Very Special Unicorn. And Lord knows, in her mind, no one can be as special as she is.

What happened is that she got a UTI and got super sick, so sick she lost 50lbs. Now she isn't sick anymore and has been stuffing her face at every chance she can get. She is only going to be putting weight on.

Very much this. She was on 4 rounds of antibiotics which are hell on the stomach. Then she got tonsillitis or whatever so her throat probably hurt too much to cram down all the things. That's it. Same as last year when she lost a little weight only to come back with a vengeance. She's not getting the asspats she thought she would so she's going to be deep in her mentals and the binge monster will arise like a phoenix.

I feel like a huge part of Amber's self-esteem is tied to her hair. Sexy women have long hair in her mind. She cares more about the length than about the condition it is in (it's fucking dying).
