The thing that seemed the most plausible is ALR sexually assaulting Krystal, and that is why K’s parents hate Amber and kicked her out.
This is what gets me.
My initial reaction was that ALR made all this up herself. She's not above creating drama, and the accusations are so on-the-nose that a lot of it feels like her protesting too much. And if she can "disprove" one accusation, she can dismiss the rest forevermore. Not a bad way to drive some views and perhaps start fresh with a new butler.
However.
The rumor that ALR was hired as Krystle's caregiver has been around for
years. It's a very specific rumor and big part of ALR lore, but it's not really juicy at this point in time. I'm trying to remember exactly what Becky's connection to Krystle is -- isn't Krystle dating one of Becky's exes now? -- but weird that Becky would even know about it. It stands out in that it's not contemporaneous, it's not MSHPL-style "fatty wears diapers" kinds of sensational, and unlike the Rain and Petals Eavesdrop thing, it's not something that comes up regularly when people are ranting about what a bad person ALR is.
ALR is dumb as a box of rocks, but even I find it hard to believe she'd
create a rumor that she was a rapist. Because that's what this is. I can see her being conniving enough to plan her cycle, being slimy enough to record and blackmail people, and gross enough to sit on a peepad to prevent leakage, if nothing else. I could see her setting this up so she can "address" all these rumors, insist they're lies, and then move on. But to generate an accusation this serious when no one was even talking about it in the first place?
I
can see her having no boundaries and perhaps not fully comprehending why her special-needs "girlfriend" for whom she was being paid to be a companion/low-key homecare nurse wasn't a good person to fuck. She might have even found it romantic, and given that Krystle seemed reasonably high-functioning, Krystle's parents might have been reluctant to press charges or anything that might traumatize their kid. (Not saying that would be the right call, but at least I could understand it.) But that was a really weird situation, too -- didn't ALR say they "weren't in love" for like the last year they lived together? And yeah, she was positively giddy about meeting Destiny, but ALR is a narcissist who never learns from her mistakes, never faces consequences, and only worries about securing her next mark/next meal. That she'd just drop the whole Krystle situation and move on makes sense to me -- it's not like she was actually attached to anything but the money and the attention.
But that just brings me back to my original point: I don't see this as something that would be worth it to her to bring up and publicly address. Unless she's just secretly really bothered by it and needs to publicly rewrite history for the sake of her ego. Or she has reason to think Krystle's about to spill some tea and she wants to get out ahead of it. That would make sense, I guess. The timing of that is weird though. This ancient rumor becomes relevant again right when Becky leaves, Wipey arrives, views are down, and other more current rumors happen to need addressing? Could happen, I guess. Just weird.
Very strange situation. I have no reason to think those leaks are authentic. It's too easy to fake this sort of shit, and a fledgling YouTube channel just so happening to get the scoop and the chance to break into the Haydur Nation scene? Nah. Stinks to heaven. It's gotta be the case that someone is pulling the strings here.
The whole thing stinks of ALR. It's just the Krystle thing really gives me pause.
