My take on Amber now going to Bingo halls is slightly different. The first time she went with Kristine and her boyfriend, she was bored after a few minutes but was told to wait till they were done. Thus, why going again? I think that it is Kristine who like to go to bingo, not Amber. But Amber does not want to be alone in the flat and would rather go to bingo than be alone. For Kristine, it’s her entertainment. For Amber, her entertainment is eating, not bingo. Unfortunately for Amber, if she does not want to be alone , she’ll have to tolerate bingo.

Its moms car and moms rules and they will go where mom wants to go if Amber wants a ride to get out of the apartment to get food. Also as someone else said, she's love bombing mom to get her on deck for care taking duties. If Amber is good at one thing, its manipulating people to her advantage. She needs someone in the area to help get groceries, doctors appointments, the pets etc.
Its interesting they went to a different bingo place... I havent sat down to see if theres different specials etc on the different days they went.. Or if Amber said she didnt like the food at this one and mom offered up the alternative. They are in totally opposite directions.

I live in an area with some condos and apartments for people 55 and over. It's not unusual to see one or two people a day riding their scooty puffs in the street to the store. There's even one lady who ties her dog to the basket and that's how she walks it.
