:offtopic: but does anyone remember AL's Vegan Cookie review where she figured out, at 25 years old, that the label on a packet of food that mentions the calorie count means calories per serving?

I just saw that video because it popped up in my Suggested and watching her flub around and point out the most basic nutrition facts (which is evidence that she spends zero time thinking about nutrition even when trying to be healthy) is too funny.

EDIT: More or less I'm not trying to insult people's intelligence, or what age you learn things that might come naturally to other people. But when you're smug as fuck about it or think you're all-knowledgable on it when it's clear you just learned that factoid a few minutes ago, I'm gonna point and laugh at you over it.

Ambers grandma , her fathers mother was not a closeted lesbian at all ... she was a very obvious ...for lack of better terms , (my apologies if I offend anyone ) a dyke lesbian had a girlfriend for many many many years... Amber did not find out after she died is a complete fabrication.
Her grandma was a very sweet loving woman. Who was abused on multiple levels by her family. But sexual discrimination wasn't one of them ...
Is there any area in Ambers life that she can just tell the truth ???
Our truth is juicy enough Amber , my goodness !!! We could write a book or create a lifetime movie with true facts !!!

Fair enough, but I kinda like the "don't pozload my negholep" approach of just watching. Cows will be obnoxious and horrible on their own. You (not you personally, just a general you) don't need to prod them with transparent troll shit. They don't usually need to be baited, they'll deliver on their own.

If you don't mind me asking (feel free to ignore if this is getting into too touchy territory), do you know just how bad Amber's home life actually was before being put into foster care? Obviously the drug abuse was prevalent and seen as a big enough danger if the state decided to put her into foster care over it (and you've made comments about Amber's father in the past so I'm going guess he wasn't a good person, so I'm sure abuse did happen.)

But by the way Amber talks, it sounds like she can't decide between (A) having an absolutely horrible childhood where she was constantly neglected and having to fend for herself in a moldy old trailer (mentioning drug dealers and junkies would come in-and-out of the trailer all the time, her dad paying drug addicts to look after her and her brother while her parents are no where to be found.)

Or (B) having a pretty fulfilling childhood where she is constantly outside, going for bike rides, swimming, riding on her scooter, staying on a farm with plenty of animals, going to Disneyland, participating in dance troops and costume contests, and saying that her childhood nickname was the Golden Child because she was outside all the time.

Sadly, I know for sure most of the things in
(A) are true. Or at least more than likely true. I wasn't there but, based on what I do know I can assume that these claims are factual.
I feel most of the ( B ) is half truths , going to be confirming a lot with my sister very soon.
They did live on "farm" for a little while ( it was actually an old restaurant ) they did have several animals that's all I can confirm on that ...

I thought so. B seemed to be a lot of wishful thinking scenarios to cope with the trauma, like maladaptive daydreams or something, but I wasn't sure. I've heard stories about kids in families with addict parents who had bad memories of childhood, but also some really good memories--when their parents were sober, anyway. So I'm sure some of those memories might be true from the times that her parents weren't relapsing on drugs.

Some of it might be embellishments, but like I said it's probably more wishful thinking on her part.
