I know this is a few pages back but I just wanna address it real quick. It is entirely possible she was not able to subsidize the cost of the handset with a contract because she had insufficient credit to do so. Soo remember how she just 'gave' destiny her old phone even though she's making payments on it, because she's such a good person? I think she actually did contract out her phone, and was on a plan with destiny. I think destiny said fuck you and made her give back the phone since destiny was the one paying for the monthly installment. She and Dustin seemed to be salty with each other awhile back, and she acted like it was all a joke. Next thing you know, Amber decided to just 'give' Dustin her phone even though she vlogged with it(she even claims she gave it to Dustin even tho she was going to pay the rest of the phone off). First off, she wouldn't just give away anything of hers, let alone a functioning phone. Now she has to use a phone that's broke, and doesn't even have anything to use for backup to film. YouTube is her passion y'all, but she doesn't care enough to actually invest even $600 into an actual camera.

And Destiny overtime grew less and less animated and outspoken. All the "friends" she meets duck out, it seems, so why. I'm not saying Amber is an abuser but she seems to manipulate people who have low self-esteem and are possibly underdeveloped. I'm not saying they're dumb, I'm saying she possibly preys on people who don't have all their ducks in a row yet. Maybe it's just me but the more I watch Amber, her mannerisms and responses, the more I think she's like an abusive narcissist. Anyone can see Rafe and Amber are not Rafe and Amber. It's weird. All I'll say is it probably depends on what kind of anxiety the person has. Social anxiety probably isn't going to be triggered by streaming on youtube because it's the internet and no one is "real" on it in the same way going to the store is. Actual real lolcow and lolcow orbiter dx may vary.

You're spot on. She could easily find a job that was solitary. A potential lead that comes to mind is Amber's "government" data entry job, funny enough.

And honesty, I don't even have an issue with her selling crafts for an income. It's hard, especially since the market is utterly saturated with common, fairly easy homemade/artisan goods, but can be done. But if you're serious about that then your spending as much time crafting as you would a typical job. You actually need merch to stock with and the vibe I get from Rafe is that she treats this as a casual hobby that can fetch some cash rather than an income.

As much as I always like to say if I didn't have to work I wouldn't, not having anything to do is boring. And I know it's been brought up before about what exactly DOES Amber DO all day... Yeah, I would definitely say Amber herself does not have social anxiety. Sure, she might be SELF-CONSCIOUS to the point of getting anxious over it in public over the way she looks/thinks she smells whatever, but it's not the same thing - at least in real people speak. You can tell by her cockiness that this one was filmed when she still had a battalion of Ambambies defending her in the comments...little did she know, a year later all she would be doing is addressing her hay-durs 24/7, and the only ones supporting her are her first-time viewers and the occasional 12 y/o girl.

Whoa, starting at 13:10, she tells us how great Krystal is doing "I don't really think she'd care if I tell you guys this"...in the 11 months since AL left, Krystal has had "some jobs" "some dates" "a girlfriend or two" "now she has a BOYfriend"---really?
