What the everloving fuck is Tammie doing encouraging her niece to contact such a person? Blessed be the ties that bind stops being applicable when your kid gets placed into foster care because you are such a chemical fuck up, you continue living like a disaster and then go to prison.

I get that Kristine is Tammie's sister and that matters to her, but her sister is also a life-long drug addict who lost her kids and went to prison and lives like a shambolic morally-challenged meth hobo. The pictures she posted of her boyfriend (probably ex-boyfriend now but who knows) scream "sex offender registry." Motherfucker has a lightning bolt tattoo next to his eye. She posted endless memes about loving her daughter and the sorts of misery affirmations I associate with teenagers, and none of that is helped by all the edgy MySpace-era drawings of sparkly women on fire, the sort of art commonly seen on conversion vans. Kristine is arrested at an age younger than Amber if her FB is anything to go on.

AL's messy life resembles her mother's. Both are addicts. Both have unstable relationships. Both appear to have great difficulty holding down a job. Both share gross elements of their lives online. Both neglected and constructively abandoned smaller weak creatures dependent on them. Amber didn't fall far from the tree, yet Tammie seems all too willing to forgive the tree while holding the tree's fruit responsible.

Don't get me wrong - a pox on all their houses. I'm just stating that Amber has some really shitty people in her family and learned her dysfunction at their feet. She needs to grow up and so do Tammie and Kristine.

OMFG! Her mother is a MESS! Amberlynn is a product of her upbringing. However, she is grown now and is capable of taking responsibility for her life.

As interesting as your dirt on AL is, try and see that it does look slightly petty that you're airing dirty laundry about your niece on a forum. Now I get venting and I'm not condoning or condemning you for coming here. And AL is a special kind of crappy person. And if you're also put off by how we're talking about your sister, you have to admit the Facebook posts we see of her are not anywhere near appropriate or flattering. Your whole family situation is utterly dysfunctional. Which is a shame, but true.

If you choose to post more, by all means, do so. There's people here who do enjoy your input. Just know that you are not above reproach. It's not even personal, it's just the nature of the forum.

If you choose to log off and not come back, that's fine too. Hell, that might be in your best interest. But if you do leave- just do it. Don't tease us or get huffy about how mean we are. There have been tons of people who tried to "guilt" us about not treating them to their standards. it's really common for people close to those we talk about come here, drop information, but then get mad when we either don't praise them or if we criticize them. If you want to wash your hands of us, just do it and be done.

My personal two scents- stop posting and stop following your niece. Amber Lynn is a horrible person and isn't going to change. There's no reason to stay invested in her. So what if she drags you in a video? Anyone with a quarter of a brain knows she's full of shit. And even if they don't, who cares? You tried to be a good relative and it blew up in your face. Take care of yourself and your sister. It seems like she needs some serious help and while you can't change her or made her decisions for her, you can be a supportive sister and help her navigate her life. Distancing yourself from her directly and indirectly through us is probably the best for you.

Of course an apple isn't a lunch to someone who's only been awake for about 4 hours, but already took it 1100 cals of food. Her lunch alone consisted of FOUR slices of a high calorie, hearty bread, peanut butter, jelly, and some other small calorie add on. I also have a feeling she used more than 2 tablespoons of peanut butter on her 4 slices of wheat bread, but she probably just 'guessed' on the serving. She will never lose weight when she's eating meals like that. She can't put the energy into actually finding a balanced meal.

It's funny how it shows she ate 4 slices of bread, that she emphasized was calorie dense, and she said she only had a PB&J (14:20). Was it a double decker PB&J Amber?

I not quite sure how I found myself here but I throughly enjoy this place. I just finished watching Amber's "vlogmas 2016" videos; nothing has ever made me feel so confident about my life choices. The amount of money someone puts down depends on the loan. A standard loan, in the US, would be 20% to avoid mortgage insurance. VA loans don't require a down payments. FHA is less than standard and if you're living in a rural area, USDA loans don't require a down payment either. Her credit would screw her for most anything, really. And there's more to owning a home besides paying the mortgage. Repairs and maintenance would do her in, both financially and physically.

She might brag about her income now but in reality, she's never going to be a popular YouTuber with a substantial income and sponserships. She's going to struggle getting any line of credit or even an apartment simply bc she doesn't have a stable source of income. The fluctuations in income and the instability of her platform just puts her risk rate too high. I know she doesn't like thinking about her 5 year plan since she has all her hoofs in the YouTube basket, but if she ever wants to be a real adult, she needs to start with getting an ACTUAL job.

She doesn't plan ahead because at the rate she's living, she won't last too many years.

Let's be generous and say Amber makes $2000 this month. This would be equivalent to a $12.50 per hour job that has NO BENEFITS. On paper maybe $2000 a month sounds good, but $2000 is her GROSS pay, and not the standard take home pay people who pay taxes and insurance receive. Considering Amber has no dependants and no deductions like home ownership or charitable donations, her tax rate would be around 25%. This means she should immediately put aside $500 from her monthly check, decreasing her take home pay to $1500. Small business owners often claim that their taxes are much higher simply because their employer isn't matching their exemptions, so we are using hypothetical higher rates. Amber doesn't have an employer paying into her social security or a 401k, so with her remaining $1500, she should set aside another 20% for retirement, or $300. Again these numbers might seem high but only putting $300 a month in a retirement account is dangerously low for someone who isn't paying into social security, which means when she can draw on her social security, her benefits will be much lower than someone who paid into them their whole life. Amber- just so you know, if you don't pay as much into SS as someone who worked their whole life, your monthly check is smaller. Just FYI. You will also need to work past the standard retirement rate to get a larger monthly check, too.

Actually, a full time worker will work 2080 hours a year, so with that in mind, a comparable hourly rate is $11.50. You're missing the employer paid part of taxes too. The usual suggestion is for self-employed people to put aside 40% of their income for taxes. FICA is roughly 15% for self-employed people. When you work for someone else, they pay half and you pay half. 25% is a good baseline for federal income taxes but then she also would have to pay KY income taxes.

Amber likely doesn't file her taxes anyway.
