I hope this isn't too off-topic, but Amber should look up Jacqueline Adan if she needs both a role model and a reality check for what's in store for her future if she ever loses weight. IIRC, Jacqueline's starting weight was around 530, so just 8lbs above Amber's current weight. She lost over 350 pounds without surgery, just from - surprise - eating less and moving more.

But she documented her whole process and it wasn't just like oh hey, she lost the weight and everything is peachy. She has horrible lymph problems in her legs, she's had multiple painful skin removal surgeries and does them in sections... her arms, her legs, her midsection, etc.

I just thought I'd post about her since we were all discussing what Amber is in for if she ever does lose weight. She's not one for going to the doctor more than once for follow-ups - remember she "got all her cavities taken care of" when she was 17 - so I find it unlikely that A: she will lose weight and B: she will go through the years of pain and surgeries and physical therapy and recovery that will lie ahead of her to address her skin and lymph issues.

Amber calling anyone a "freak" is funny. She belongs in a circus! She could be a fat lady/clown combo. Losing 130 pounds took a lot of hard work. It's not like that woman started a week ago; she's been at it a while. And she plans to continue losing weight. I know she'll reach her goal since she's come this far already.

I love it when she lets her facade crack and acts like she's one of the hot "mean girls" and only just a "little bit" overweight and compares it to other people. She's truly believes that the average girl is Becky's size or something and that everyone else is just that toxic and rude to her alone. Maybe somebody showed her one of the statistical averages saying the average American woman is like a size 16 or something, but that's kind of a skewed and subjective statistic. Besides, she's a size 16x, its not the same thing Amber.

Amber you didnt "stand up for yourself" you tried to slap back but 500 lbs of blubber got in the way again.

I honestly don't think that her youchoobie money will dry out. She's a fucking trainwreck. Personally I wont stop watching until she either dies from her own fuckups lying in her shitstained moldy bed or she gets her shit together. (which we know is highly unlikely, she's a true narcissistic cow)

As horrible as it is for me to keep watching completely destroy herself and pump out lazy and boring content, I'm here for the ride until the end. This cow is so dumb and so self centered it is amusing.

I don't even feel bad for her since she refuses to get help and thinks she knows whats best for her. I think most of her audience thinks the same way.

Regardless, until the beginning of this year I had to compare images of her to see the weight gain. But after January she began to gain so fast I can see the gain on each video she releases.

You overestimate her income and her ability to deal with her mental issues. Either that or you underestimate how expensive it is to get the surgeries without healthcare, how much all of those professionals charge and how hard it is to deal with her mental problems.

assuming shes telling the truth, shes getting thousands per month. i dont think many people can get skin surgery with insurance. isn't that cosmetic surgery? if shes smart with whatever shes making, she could save money by the time she got to a normal weight, and get skin removal. also couldnt she just buy health care to see a therapist? sounds like you're the one making excuses FOR her. strange

Does anyone know/could you draw a layout of AL house...it seems that her bathroom is off the extra living room (the one she has been given with the brick and paneling) and that this room is off the kitchen. The boy's bedroom is off the kitchen too but where in the house is AL bedroom? It seems she walks from a hallway into the big living room (the one with the sectional couch) a lot on Eric's videos. If her bedroom is back there her bathroom is pretty far from her bedroom. Maybe she has done a video/house tour?


You know what would be fun? If AL were dating someone as fat as she is...

I think I understand what you're trying to say, but what you reply doesn't quite work. I'm not making excuses for her, I'm stating facts.
I do believe she shouldn't just throw the towel, but the truth is there is already irreversible damage done. Her plantar fasciatis, her enlarged heart, and all the other laundry list of damaged internal organs won't just go back to normal IF she lost weight.

Therapy: this blog entry from 2014 has 3 different people who lists prices varying between $5.00/session up to $300.00. Amber is Cluster B (my personal opinion is that she has narcissistic personality disorder) and not all therapists will accept her (IF she ever tries. Cluster B types are infamous for being resistant to therapy).

Here you can find out how much a personal trainer charges per session. It varies wildly from $25.00 to $75.00. Amber will need someone who specializes in super morbidly obese people, though, so I'd think the higher price is more likely.

Plastic surgeries:
"Four to six months of stable weight is what I like to see," says Lyle Leipziger, MD, chief of plastic surgery at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. "For postbariatric patients, this often means they wait a minimum of a year — and usually more like 18 months — before undergoing [body-contouring] surgery."

Lower body lift - average of $8000.00 (I'm rounding down)
Upper arm lift - average of $3500.00
Thigh lift - average of $4000.00

I didn't include a boob job, but she might need one too.

Finally, here is a blog from someone who has a personal chef. She pays $45.00/hour for their services, not counting the ingredients used.

My post so far is an exercise in futility, though. Even though I do believe that she should do something, I doubt she ever will. Because the saying "where there is a will, there is a way" doesn't apply to Amber. She does not have the will to change.

I'd also like to reiterate that Amber lives in BF Kentucky, where I doubt she'll be able to find any of the professionals necessary.

Amber has never, and will never earn enough to pay for the things you suggested (and I didn't include the many joint replacements she'll need, nor the intense treatment that will be necessary to deal with her heart and lungs). Check her social blade. She might have had ONE lucky month where she made a little more money, and she burnt through it in less than a week.
