Well,. let's be fair here: she's so much better than the majority of us.
It's like her "I was never, ever 600 ellbees, guise!" bullshit. The fact she stopped weighing herself and never saw it on the scale equals never being 600 pounds when quite clearly at the end of 2019 she was obviously over 600 pounds. I was actually thinking about this last night, and her whole "cancer" thing. I wonder if ballooning up that quickly caused something to reach a tipping point and her body started dangleen her lady bits in overdrive by then.
Muh traumuh! I wonder if she knows, without cheating, how many ligaments there are in the lower part of the human leg. Chopping off some extremities would help her lose some of that weight. Short of mining the common green there at The Henry, I guess we'll have to wait on the untreated, rampaging beetus to do that. Also, why did this previous fall not trigger her non-diagnosed PTSD?

Amber needs to write about a traumatic event, and she's choosing to write the story about how she saved her baby brother from being strangled by the cord from the blinds. Amber had a test done and she totally has a hernia (Amber sounds overjoyed at this revelation). Amber doesn't know if they will operate on it during her WLS. As the WLS isn't gonna happen, I'm going to guess 'NO'.
When Amber was a massively fat 5 1/2 - 6 year old, and her little brother was a scrawny 4 - 4 1/2 year old, she made him haul her fat ass around all the time in a wagon (and she would never reciprocate). It eventually gave him a hernia. Amber thinks this is her karma.
HAES is totally not a thing, and Amber doesn't understand why people think she 'glorifies' obesity. You deny the full extent of your medical situation-type-deal, and you use your size and failing of diets for monetary gain. That's close enough to 'glorification' in my book. And if you don't believe in HAES, why did you select a HAES Outpatient Facility last year?

In simple terms, hernias are lumps caused when a weakening of the muscle walls occur and fatty tissue squeezes through the connective tissue.
Color me shocked. The fat has to go somewhere you obese bitch. You have so much of it that it's literally starting to tear your body apart.

I am questioning the reason why Amber is seeing this therapist. At first, it seems to be to deal with her relationship with food, which would make sense if someone is planning to have WLS. Now, it seems to be all bout PTSD. She has done half her sessions, but no talk about food issues. So, what is the point of those sessions unless she needs to reach the magic number of 12 to get surgery?

Maybe it's cold hearted but I get the impression that this sounds like a story a kid would embellish to punish neglectful parents. Their parents are knocked out on whatever cocktail they're on, daughter is frustrated by the lack of attention, sees her little brother fucking with the pulley for the blinds and out of frustration pulls the brother away and then says "they were choking while you were neglecting us!". Then retelling the story over and over she begins to believe it because it both justifies resentment to her parents and presents herself a hero for "saving his life" as she likes to constantly remind everyone of.
