I also find it hilarious when someone makes a bitchy comment about Dana and AL makes the poorest attempt to "defend her." Someone could say "Damn, AL...I heard Dana say ISIS isn't even that bad!" and AL would just reply "Really? I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinions! She's always been nice to me tho!"

My beagle is a couch potato. LOL. He's thin, though, because we're careful with his food and treats.

However, no one should give or sell any more animals to these obese, lazy fucks. Someone should buy Dustin a LeapFrog toy to keep her entertained.

It starts with horrible people like AL and Dustin getting too many puppies or kittens because they are "soooo cute" and then quickly growing bored with them as they get older. They then either abandon or hand off the dog to any takers which leads to being filmed with Sara Mclachlan singing sad songs in the background two years down the road.

The selfishness and thoughtlessness of these fat fucks is mind blowing. Save the puppies and kitties!!!

Apparently one of the three dogs died from 'worms'. For an animal to die from worms, they have to have such a heavy load of them they become anemic. It's easy to tell when a puppy is anemic because they just lay there. They don't play or run around or do other puppy things. They'll also be super skinny everywhere, but have a huge bloated stomach. They shit out worms, and in really bad cases, throw them up. For a dog to die from a worm infestation requires a massive level of neglect. It costs like $10 to get a de-worming treatment from a vet, or you can just go to a fucking feed store and buy a bottle of it yourself if you can't afford the vet cost. Fucking insane. These people need to have their animals taken away.

If the puppy died within a month, it had its issues before it ever made it to these speds. Not to offload the blame onto the breeder, because this in addition to the fact that they're mixed breeds tells me these dogs came from puppy mills (or a pet shop, which is a middle man for puppy mills anyhow), which makes everyone involved just shitty, shitty people.

It could have had parvo, which is an even more obvious condition than hook worms. It would be shitting and throwing up blood, and would eventually die from dehydration/anemia. If that was what happened to it, it once again died from neglect, and all her other (no doubt unvaccinated puppies) are at risk of getting it now.

You're right though, that the puppy probably had issues before they got it. Maybe it was just inbred as fuck by some hillbilly back yard breeder. But they had a month to address these issues, and they didn't.

Nah, but all joking aside, this is really fucked up, and I'm kind of secretly hoping that a non-ween, y'know, like close friends or family, calls someone who can help. It's one thing if a pup starves, another if it gets left to its own devices and eats itself to death, but letting them die of fucking treatable worms is downright heinous. :(

They don't specify what worm, but I'm gonna guess Hookworm or Roundworm since those are two pretty common ones. Regardless, the symptoms are not quiet.

Hookworm symptoms include:
  • A malnourished appearance
  • Poor eating habits
  • Nostrils, ears, and lips may appear pale
  • Stools could be dark or “tarry” or diarrhea and constipation will be present
  • If the parasite has migrated into the lungs, a hacking cough will be present.
Roundworm infections manifest as a variety of symptoms:
  • Lethargy
  • Anorexia
  • Colic
  • Abdominal swelling
  • Vomiting
  • Abnormal feces
  • When roundworm larvae have infected the lungs, the dog may exhibit a hacking cough.
How do you miss these? You had the puppy for a month. I've had puppies before, you have to watch them all the time and give them constant attention.
