See, my feeling is that I totally would not blame her for never wanting contact with her family again. I'm sure she's embellished her past at least a little, but if it's even half true then her parents sound like terrible people.

BUT this fake shit needs to stop. It's typical ALR to want to have your cake and eat it too. She wants to pretend she's benevolent and that she's forgiven her parents but she doesn't want to make a sincere effort if she can't easily show it on video.

I agree. I don't believe just because someone gives birth to a child the child owes them something when the parents where completely incapable of raising them and where abusive. These people where even addicted to drugs and chose that over their children, i would completely understand it if Amber just wanted to cut all contact with them.
But she can't do that, because if she pretends like she has forgiven her parents and she still cares for them and wants to write them letters that makes her seem like a good angelic person.
And i fully expect her to read the letter aloud to youtube or summarize it and make a video about once she's done writing it.

She was in Peter Monn's chat last night and he was talking all about how the greedy you tubers put lots of ads, and she probably took a hint. He also said he thinks she makes 5000-7000 a month and she was like, I won't say. He egged her on, saying he must've hit the nail on the head since she wasn't saying anything and she played along. He said social blade doesn't include the extra revenue from ads, so if she wasn't making this much, she probably figures she should be.
