Wonder what her great news is...possibly got approved for a new apartment if she really ISN'T moving in with Becky?

I've never understood really the point of weight watchers? It all seems sort of mindless, when I feel like weightloss should be a conscious effort. Amber just relies on this app to tell her how much to eat, when she should just be calculating CICO. Bit of a PL but I'm about half amber's weight and currently on a weightloss journey, and all of the food she showed in that video would be a "binge" for me. But hey, if it works, I guess it works then.

WW basically is CICO, but it has assigned point values instead of calories. You still have to weigh and measure your food and enter it into their calculators to get point values, or you give more money to WW and their partnered brands by buying food that has the point values on the package already. I understand it as a way of tricking people into thinking they "don't have to count calories anymore!" when in fact that's exactly what they are doing.

I agree. CICO is king and helps people learn portion control. Yes, WW is a form of CICO but they tend to spew a lot of bullshit myths about weight loss.

Okay, all the sites that have you calculate it yourself for ProPoints only brings her to 55, and that's if she considers herself 'lightly active' for all of the moving to the fridge she does. Where the everliving christ did she get 84? Did she say she was a nursing mother powerlifter?

Uh, she claims to have had a weigh-in in the video she posted four days ago, but now we're going back to the pretending that the batteries on the scale are broken and that she hasn't weighed herself since January? This is why I don't like her. The lying and the nonstop bullshit. I would have sympathy for the weight because I have no doubt she has mental problems and that it's fucking hard to know that you have 350 pounds to lose, but she lies nonstop and I have absolutely zero respect for that. And lol at the comments from fuckwits on YouTube who actually think she is going to commit to this. Just lol.

I know she won't commit, but a small part of me hopes she does. I bet her viewers feel the same way.

Though I'm not sure how much faith I'm putting into her when she says 84 points and literally everyone with a WW calculator is scratching their heads.

WW changed their points system fairly recently. Every online calculator I've found is not the same as what WW currently uses, which are SmartPoints. And to be totally honest I'm not sure what the formula is, otherwise I could look that up and we could figure out where the 84 comes from. I know when I plugged in being 530 (I think) and wanting to get to 199 earlier it said I would have 85 per day, but I'm taller than AL and older so who knows.

And fuck that 500 pound story guy.

Christ alive, the comments made me nauseous. "OMG SO INSPIRING, WELL DONE, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU." She was on WW for a day. A day. And how many other first days has she had, then immediately swan-dived into a sea of pizza rolls and smirnoff ice within the next twenty four hours? Clap her on her back rolls when she's actual stuck to something.

Either she has no viewer retention, or these viewers don't retain any memory.

Also important to note - a pizza hut slice of cheese pizza is 289 calories and the cookie is 180 so she had about 1,696 calories when she filmed. This is not counting the calories added onto the pizza from the different toppings (which I'm roughly going to say would add about ~200 calories to that total), any and all extra slices of pizza/cookie after filming and obviously not counting what she had earlier that day.
Now that I've watched the new video where Amber says she ate the whole pizza, and that it was stuffed crust, I wanted to update this for posterity's sake. (Also, a large pizza is 8 slices from Pizza Hut so I don't know why people ever thought she got a medium? It's Amber, c'mon now.) I'm not counting the extra toppings again because no one has time for that but the difference between a pepperoni and cheese stuffed crust is 30 calories so I'm going with the pepperoni caloric intake value of 340/slice. I'm also going to give Amber the benefit of the doubt and say she ate 6 pieces of the cookie instead of the full 8 pieces which brings that to 1,080 calories for a grand total of 4,000 calories after adding the ~200 for the extra toppings which looked like the shitty meat, onions, peppers, etc.

She plays up the fat shaming for sympathy points with her followers and hope they don't come her to she all the other shit things she does and the evidence to back it up.
Also watching some old 600lbs life episodes and she is just like penny - her denial is beyond reality. Those two huge ass pasta dishes she ate within the same day she must rationalize away that she "only had some pasta today" - that quantity doesn't matter its the number of items- some pasta and pizza- then it would be counted as a separate meal in her eyes and therefore more.

ALbert is such a slob from this throw back video(6:30 mark). She is eating dinner with destiny and goes to get some tatertots straight up grabs the spoon then decides "nah I am just going to grab em with my greasy ass hands" there is a fucking spoon right there! she touches it! Beetus sore makes an appearance as well. This is very similar to the video from Florida and she puts the sprinkles on those care home clients dessert with her dirty ass bare hands.

Honestly, the first time I saw this thumbnail before watching the video I assumed she was going to suggest Oreos were the easy dinner recipe.

And she always gets the white sauce instead of red. It also wouldn't surprise me if she dips her pizza in ranch dressing.
She easily had about 4,300-4,500 calories if calculated correctly just from the pizza binge. But all she does is lie even when it's right there on film so no one will ever know how much she truly eats. Adding in what she ate the rest of the day I'd wager she ate almost 5,500-5,900 calories that day. It's astounding when you do the math. And the thing is - she has to be eating like this every day or else she'd immediately lose weight since she'd be taking in less than what she needs to maintain her weight. Never mind her protestations and lies that she eats soooo healthy. When you do the math it's seriously that simple. Stop eating 4k worth of shit every night and you'd lose so much weight, Amber. Hell, even if she ate 2k calories a day she'd lose weight.

The app itself will go above 500 pounds. I think you need a WW account though. I'm not sure why all of these online calculators max out at 500 pounds.
They stop at 500lbs because anyone above that needs medical guidance whilst losing weight. It's considered dangerously high risk, and dieting could legitimately cause a heart attack if not monitored very carefully. Over 500lbs= get to a doctor and an IRL dieting group for support and monitoring.

AL probably used her January weight because she was a bit bigger then and wanted to gain more points to splurge on...which kinda defeats the whole fucking purpose of what she's doing.

Al wants to use some Jan weight that she made up as 489 even though on 12/31/16 she did a weigh in at 467. She wants to use 489 so it looks like she is losing more weight than she is.
