Fuck you, Amber. If there were any doubts about your character before, there will be none after you dump your pets. IF she is offloading those cats to someone, and god forbid it's Double D, she is proving us all right. There's no coming back from this one, Amber. You're a shitty person. You're a filthy liar. And you hoard, 'lose', and replace cats as if they're just more cheap-ass chokers from Walmart.

You are 100% dysfunctional. You can keep killing yourself with the food you eat, kidding yourself that you have a job, and pretend to be making money all you want, but it's fucking disgusting how you treat your animals and you should be ashamed of yourself.

We know you read the farms, so why don't you address the cat issue? It'll all come out eventually anyway.

P.S Fuck you.

Gym memberships for the morbidly obese are just a waste of money. It's been said a million times but she needs to admit her binge eating and find a resource that can help her deal with it. At her weight if she just could cut back to 3K calories a day she'd lose 100lbs or so before she had to make additional changes to her daily intake.

My take is that some of her childhood sob story is true, and Aunt Tammie has confirmed it. So Amber developed a neurotic way of dealing with her very real problems: she fed herself food because she wasn't getting love from her parents, she learned to lie to prevent any explosive behaviors her parents did, and she became a chameleon with her personality to adapt to the various foster situations. She never learned to think ahead and plan for a future and work because she was busy surviving the life of a foster kid with drug addled parents.

Kids of addicted parents often have many maladaptive behaviors, and she's no different.

That said, she's now an adult. Her childhood is over. She has had many chances to get help for herself, through therapy, through people gifting her weight loss support and through her aunt, who won't BS her but still obviously cares. Even us haters-if she would stop being angry and hear what we are saying-we are telling her the truth and if she listened she could get it sorted out.

With therapy, she could get past her inertia, start to understand her using behaviors and why they formed and start to tackle her weight. If she really wanted and worked hard, in three years, by the time she's 30, she could be at her goal weight and be a deeper person.

But she'd rather drift through life, having no goals but the next time she fills her face., shopping for Chinese junk and collecting animals, none of which will ever fill her up.

Somewhere deep inside she knows you can't be that fat forever-she's even said it. The time is coming when she's going to be bedridden-whether from a foot or leg injury or another 100 lbs-and it's why she goes from person to person, because she can't do that alone.

Wherever she falls... she stays. If it's Becky, I hope she's ready. Destiny was just a kid and wised up to Amber's huge needs pretty quick-will Becky get there soon enough? Because there are not a lot of people who will kick a disabled obese person with no money out onto the streets, and it looks like Amber has cut ties with her family. So if she hurts herself with Becks, she's there to stay.

I'll await my optimistic ratings. :).

It really is amazing she hasn't had a trip and fall and a leg snap yet. As she ages the likelihood will only increase.

Actually, the weight thing could well be her scales. Not nonsense like flat batteries, but any pair of domestic scales gets less and less accurate as it nears maximum weight limit. Getting on them once is absolutely no guarantee you'll get anything like your correct weight (although the little person trapped inside throws away the calculation tables and just screams "GET OFF!")

The other part is the tare of the scales. I don't know about digital ones in domestic use, but all manual ones regularly need re-setting, and very fine digital scales need to be tared every time. We will gloss over how I know that, ahem. But she's nearly at the limit of domestic scales, takes one reading and has likely never re-tared them - add that in with the natural fluctuations of the day which are magnified in morbid obesity and there could easily be a 20-30lb margin of error.

Everyone except those dumb twats who shriek "you lost 1lb and look AMAZING!" knows she's gained, including her when backed into a corner. But mentally, it's much easier for her to accept what the scales say as long as they are wrong in the "right" way. She has a huge capacity for denial (I think a lot of the lies and obfuscations are about maintaining that denial; reality is just too harsh) and, judging by how poorly she was moving and breathing, she's going to have a crisis sooner rather than later. But then look at James K on 600lb Life - he rationalised a heart attack into gaining 60lbs.

I also think maybe she's not uploading because she's truly very depressed (yah boo sucks feelz. I'll have myself shot for it) and honestly can't put the face on any more. She'll see this as hate, she sees us all as haters, but it's frustration. I want to laugh at her ridiculous life, but still want her to be happy in her ridiculousness. She's not. But she won't do anything about any of it.....until she dies? None of us,want that, we truly don't.

Scuse typos.long story.
I posted several pages back a clip in on of her videos where she says one of the cats likes to play with pens and sometimes she'll get on the scale and it'll say 200lbs and she knew it wasn't right so she would check the scale and there would be a pen or whatever causing it to give an incorrect weight.
I think either she puts something under the scale to manipulate it or she knows it's not accurate and continues to use it to her advantage.

Big A has a pannus, which we now call a fupa. She said she didn't have one but it was clear she was going by the originally intended definition (fat upper pussy area).

I don't want to be THAT PERSON, but I think you mean a panniculus. A 'pannus' is inflamed tissue in joimts or in the cornea; a panniculus is a sheet of fatty tissue (the "apron" that the morbidly obese have).

No I feel you, pannus is an oft-misused variation of panniculus. I'm pretty sure pannus means "apron" in either latin or greek, and that's why it gets mixed up with panniculus. Maybe that's why it's easier to just say fupa and call it a day.

Am I the only one who thinks that Amberlynn loves the idea of books more than actually reading them?

I think I remember seeing this mentioned a few dozen pages back in the thread that the people you associate yourself with and the environment you grow up in does influence how you talk/act/speak/write. Yes. But so does what you read.

The more you read, and the more genres and levels you read in, it starts to influence your vocabulary, your writing style, everything. Hell, even those cliche, dime-a-dozen YA novels meant for 13 year old girls that she's obsessed with can be, at the very least, well-written from a grammatical and semantic standpoint, even if the book itself is cliche and boring.

Her overall lexicon and general writing style sounds like 3rd-grade level reading material, so she either just hoards books for material's sake (which is likely knowing her) or all she actually reads is Judy Blume and whoever wrote that Bailey School Kids series.

I don't mean to insult people's intelligence or anything, because I hate the notion that how much you read dictates how smart you are, but it pisses me off that she tries to tell me she loves reading when she says shit like "ambalance" and "pitchure" and recycles the same five adjectives.

You actually bring up an issue here that hasn't been addressed in the past, and if it has, I don't remember it. There are actually issues that arise when you develop a relationship with someone, take them in, and then they become a dependent adult. Say Amber does become bedbound (which she will if something doesn't change), there could actually been legal issues that arise if becky, or any caregiver, would try to leave her or ask her to leave their home. Dependent adults do not only apply to the elderly when they are no longer able to care for themselves, it applies to handicapped adults as well. If Amber could no longer care for herself and relied entirely on becky for survival lets say, becky can't just walk out on her and never come back. Im trying my hardest not to PL, but ig anyone is dependent adult abuse certified or mandatory reporters, they may be familiar with these situations. I will only say that I've known of situations where caregivers (let's say a spouse/domestic partner/family member), have left their spouses and been charged with dependant adult abuse through neglect and/or abandonment. Sounds like a long shot, but it's not as uncommon in communities as one might think. Amber will read this and think 'oh that won't happen to me,' but that's what most everyone who becomes a defendant adult says before they become dependent. Becky is walking into a situation not realizing just how demanding, time consuming, and life changing her situation may be should she keep Amber around for awhile.

I guess she this is the troll from the other day. She "struck a nerve," haha. Personally I would have talked to her in depth but her posting was against the rules.
I wouldn't say she struck a nerve, so much as she made everyone's eyes roll 180 degrees backwards.

But yeah, okay, she sure showed us.

For sure, I agree wholeheartedly. She doesn't realise the MASSIVE disconnect when she shows three books in a pile, witters on about "loving reading"....yet there are no bookshelves or bookcases in her house, let alone overflowing ones? She hoards all sorts of crap, if she were a big reader of anything there would be very obvious evidence of it, but have we even seen her with a Kindle?

I said an almost identical thing about her "writing" (I shudder even using the word in this context.) She has a very simplistic view of what readin' an writin' says about a person but,as ever, its hopelessly shallow and void of nuance. Is somebody who reads a hundred trashy novels smarter than someone who never picks up a book but engages in other forms of learning via different information transmission? Of course not, but she's obsessed with appearances and thinks she's coming over as a deep, creative thinker. She wants the gloss without the graft, which is why it's patently obvious her literary efforts aren't even proof-read, let alone re-drafted, re-jigged, thrown away ten times only to start again. A huge part of the reason true writers don't like their finished work is that they have gone over it umpteen times - firstly they're sick of it and secondly, it can never reach perfection in their minds. Even if its published, a writer will only see it as an incarnation and all the flaws in it. Is anyone in any doubt that what literary genius we see is exactly as it spewed out of her brain?

She has to be one of the least comfortable-in-her-own-skin people I've ever encountered. She has this image of herself that she'll put HUGE effort into projecting, works hard to protect, and will completely change depending on circumstance...but won't divert any of that effort into actually improving herself in any way to meet her own ideals. That's just pure mentalist.

She has an overflowing bookshelf, of crisp, brand new books, that have never been opened. They look great next to the wax burner and candy dish. Purely ornamental.

To clarify - I've not registered it. I guess when I think of a true book lover, I mean multiple full wall, floor-to-ceiling jobs. It's relative I guess. What I've seen of her great love of books is exactly what you say, they're ornamental.

And a wax-burner near them? Yeeeah....no. That makes book people cry. Mustn't upset the Precious Books....
