I imagine behind the scenes there are hysterics and either threats to kill herself or heavy-handed "life's not worth living" stylee bollocks. I'm actually amazed Density managed to escape, especially as in her case there was thwarted toddler ego involved too (AL considered herself above Destiny, she would've been enraged that she was out-manoeuvred) and I'd imagine there was hefty emotional blackmail going on. Amber gets what she wants and fuck everyone else. Dana loved Destiny, it was probably easier to apologise and pretend through gritted teeth rather than see Destiny bombarded and likely worrying Big AL might actually harm herself. Other than, you know, eating herself to death.
