The only time I've heard of Amber being in a salon was Jan. of last year. That was when she colored her hair.

Amberlynn is just dumb in the way she spends her money. Things she should be spending on such as: health care, a bigger car, and a clinic stay with a registered dietitian and doctors, instead she spends on things like: fast food, Torrid tent hauls, journals, cheap jewelry and candles. She has the priorities of a pre-teen that just started getting an allowance. That doesn’t mean she can’t spend money on stuff she wants, but for how dire her situation is, she has to think more long-term to save her life.

I don't think anything more has been said then her insensitive ass comment on a memorial post, but I don't think he'll be strung along long, so soon we will get a video of ALR dissing him because he didn't have a diet where she could eat junk food and lose weight.

Not a snowballs chance in hell. AL is officially housebound by her own admission. She can't stand the Mama Grape style stares she gets when she goes out (to eat). So even having Necky haul her over there just to get her in the motel room, and then haul her out to CCF for meal times would be pointless and put extra strain on the Pork Wagon which is already trying to self destruct by driving itself into ditches.

Last year she didn't INTEND to keep her fatass away from Pride while actually attending it, she just got distracted by all the high calories shinies and bits of crap that Lexington had on offer. An obese Magpie like AL just couldn't help herself!

So I just finished binging the Gains Goblin thread (I wouldn't recommend it), and something stuck out to me. I suppose it's probably pretty basic, but if we're having the "is Amber a fake lesbian" convo for the 5th time, I'm not going to feel bad for interrupting.

So, Anna The Fit Vegan Skelly and Amber both have issues with food. Their motivations/mental illnesses differ, and the way they've reacted to those issues is so drastically different that it's almost fascinating... but I digress. There are some basic similarities, in that both women have a desperate, almost pathological need for control, and both use food to further those ends. Just in different ways. I don't think I'd blow anyone's mind if I said that Amber getting Becky to drive out to Lexington for some Cheesecake Factory on a whim was ultimately a control tactic (in addition to other things).

Anyway, one of the things that keeps coming up in the Anna thread is that she (as well as most anorexics) will intentionally make food that is vile, painful, or outright impossible to eat. For example, Anna coats everything in a layer of cinnamon, or puts a disgusting amount of Stevia in it. That way, they can performatively cook something and then feel justified throwing it out.

I think Amber does something similar. I mean, she's just not a good cook of course... but she seems to only make truly vile concoctions that are stew or chili like in consistency. I wonder if she, perhaps subconsciously, continues to make dishes that are terrible and perhaps doesn't throw them out... but because they aren't good she can declare herself unsatisfied, and, to herself, feel justified suggesting a trip out for fast food.
