Getting dumped was a catastrophic narcissistic injury, to be sure. I still don't think she ever loved Density. I don't think she is capable of real love. I think she's "in love" with that time in her life because she was a skinny legend who could go out and do things like a (somewhat) normal person without worrying about her laaayyg or the scootypuff being fully charged.
I don't think Amberlynn would take Destiny back today if she had the chance. Yeah Density was more fun and more openly affectionate (read: excellent narcissistic supply for AL). But I think AL has realized that ultimately it's more useful to have a lifeless, gutless partner. Becky's a lazy mooch and she's impossibly dull, but at least she'll never leave, and she won't challenge AL in any way. And then there's this:
"Well I WOULD get outside and be active, but there's nothing to do in Kentucky, this SHIT HOLE that I CAN'T leave because BECKY refuses!"

All this did was prove (even though I already knew) that she didn't go to a therapist. She's been researching mental illnesses. I say this because she starts in calling people who don't like her sociopaths and talking about lacking empathy and sympathy. I refuse to believe that she just happened to know what a sociopath is. I've seen people play this card a lot when they're trying to self diagnose. Everyone who doesn't like their bullshit becomes a narc or a sociopath because those looked like bad disorders (ones that don't get pity) when they were looking stuff up on Wikipedia.
